Our culture is centered too much on money. It's no wonder a lot of people think it's ok to buy elections.

Corporate media is influenced by ads, meaning by those who buy the ads they need to survive. They appear to expect politicians to be similarly influenced.

Musk (and others) are not really buying elections, they are buying government contracts and killing investigations. Elected officials are supposed to represent their voters, but now they represent those who buy elections for them.
