Lovely Kirk. Could the remains of a box pew directly below the pulpit be where they might have the place of repentance?
This week's #ScottishChurchOfTheWeek is the historic wee kirk at Spott, East Lothian. There has been a church here since at least the 14thC, but the current building is mainly late 18th early 19th. Still possesses its fine pulpit, numbered box pews and a punishment 'Joug Collar' at the door. (1/2)

Sent a request for Service records for a WWII New Zealand serviceman just a week before Christmas. Got a copy of his service records today via email. He was only 17 when he joined up in Nov 1943. Need more info on HMS Drake and Riou so need to do more research. Excellent service from www.nzdf.mil.nz
