erroch / Erah'sae Zhwan

Erah'sae decided a long time ago that marriage is something reserved for first and second born Keeper males. It and all that implies is "someone else's problem" and he's ok with that.

It is crucially important that you keep daydreaming, fantasizing, and roleplaying. It's absolutely essential that you nourish your fantasies. Ursula LeGuin said as much 50 years ago and her words have never been more urgent. You should read this essay: worlding808.wordpress.com/wp-content/u...

Me, delusional: what if they let us choose the bird (I know they won't) #ffxiv

This is one of the reasons Erah'sae doesn't really keep stuff. There's no worry about where it goes. He doesn't consider the workshop as his. His chocobo would run free. What little stashes remain stays for whomever finds them. He seems to leave a minimal touch upon the world. Only stories.

On your radar, you can't look away 🔥 #sunforged

I've been too busy with RL and other fires to get a proper advert up, but tonight, Tuesday evenings at Buscarron's in upon us. While I'm still dealing with stuff, there should be a decent turn out.

Given complaints going around the RP community this week, it sounds a good time to remind people to keep up the fight against the insanely overreaching age verification laws going on. If you're in the US, go here, yell at your representatives. action.freespeechcoalition.com/age-verifica...

Listening to my daughter as she makes her first "I'm actually reading everything" FFXIV msq run has been a treat. Especially in her high energy explanation style. She just fought ifrit for the first time.

The madness: WHAT IF YOU MADE ANOTHER INTERACTIVE LEITMOTIF MAP FOR THE WARFRAME OST? 👹 Me: That’s so much work though. I haven’t even been able to keep up with updating the FFXIV one. Me: …it’s not nearly as many tracks to analyze though.

I will be living vicariously through you all at GWF. Life took a bit of a turn, and I'll be heading in the opposite direction instead. I expect some good pictures and some decent stories from happenings for this old cat. *lifts a glass* Fly safe and be the best you that you can be while there.

Catch me posted up at the Studium Science Fair! We'll be learning about some VOLCANOES that exist on Etheirys. I hope you've brushed up on your geography... And if you answer my extra credit question, you get an extra sticker!

As I wrap up my prep for @gatewayfate.bsky.social - just wanted to say where I'll be! Fri, 3-6pm - #FFXIV Aquarium Meet up! Sat + Sun, 12 5/6pm - Studium Science Fair! (Meeting Room 103!) Sunday at 5 - Panel on ~mythical fish~ with @emunarum.bsky.social !

Erah'sae isn't. His chocobo, however, cultivates road rage like savage groups cultivate limit break bars.

Hello and happy October #FinalFantasyXIV #FFXIV #FF14 #FinalFantasy14 community! The new episode of C&C is out! This month I talk about the venue Crossroads with owner Kazuto Riversong! A venue hoping to bring together people from all across XIV! youtu.be/TfPkqyadt4U

Erah'sae and his kin decided to take ownership of the terms. But you've got to be one of the cool folks to get away with using it. They started calling the kids in the extended family kits and everyone cats.. an attempt to try and make it cool, and make the derogatory usage lose it's power.

These amusing little ideas are the sort of levity and whimsy we need more of. I wish I would have known about this early enough to catch it.

"Even when death is certain--retaliate." Taken in The Vault, after nearly an hour of experimenting with position, keyframe, and dozens of shots. #gposers #reshade #eorzeaphotos #gpose

ELRIC AT THE FORGE OF FOREVER (2019) Acrylic on Watercolor Board - 14 ½” x 6 ½” When I tossed out the old container of paints used to do the cover painting for WORDS OF RADIANCE, it landed upside down in my wastebasket on a piece of paperboard I had been using as a palette for something else.

See you punks tonight! crescent-ffxiv.carrd.co #ffxiv #ffxivrp

Due to a history of malnutrition growing up, Erah'sae is a bit on the short side. He doesn't really have any particular thoughts on this excepting if someone deliberately puts things well out of his arms reach. But then, that usually just ends up with him climbing things he shouldn't.

🐉 @dragoncon.org photo collage 1 🥳 One of the most extraordinary experiences of my life. Grateful to have been a part of it and share these memories with colleagues, fans, players, and all around wonderful people. You will live forever in my heart ❤️ #dragoncon #voiceactor @dcvg.bsky.social

With Evercold on the horizon and 7.56 MSQ featuring our intro to the Fourth and its Nordic inspirations, I wanted to share all the neat cultural references from this patch! It brought me so much joy to see my history in my favorite game. Spoilers below!🧵

Day 21: Better Late than Never Long had he delayed. These words, ever left unsaid. Now whispered to stone. #ffxivwrite2026

While not a misspelling, Erah'sae's mother's name gets used more often than his name does.

#FFXIVWrite2026 Day 11 - Oblivion Ignoring warnings twice given with grace, They poached animals with a reckless pace. Elementals were roused. The Greenwrath called down. And now no one can remember their face.

Now to start working backwards as I can.... 18 limericks by end of week... Boustrophedon has so many syllables...

#FFXIVWrite2026 Day 12 - Fusion In Limerick format as requested. "A fusion of cuisines, that's what its called!" This, the Roegadyn had so proudly vowed. He checked the pot twice, and ruined the rice. Leave jambalaya to those in the Shroud.

Everyone driving home from DragonCon is Buc-Ees this Buc-Ees that.. Reject Buc-Ees embrace Buscees! Join us tonight, late afternoon and evening for some walk up, open world roleplay at Buscarron's Druthers in the South Shroud of Mateus. See you there! (unless I pass out as soon as I get home.)

"Come out and fight!" the knight called. "Very well," the dragon replied. "As the challenged party, I get to choose weapons. I choose pistols." "What? I have a lance and horse!" "I don't. Here is a matched set, pick one." "Those are cannons!" "Tomayto tomahto. Pick, or forfeit the challenge."

It is with heavy feet but a revitalized soul that I bid #DragonCon2026 adieu. See you all in 358 days!

We did a "character from a hat" bit in our RP 201 panel at #dragoncon2026 to showcase, in a brief way, how we turn concepts into characters. I can't stop thinking about the blind Au Ra optometrist, in Ul'dah and his associate namazu hairdresser we were promoted with. Time to level a Xaela now.

TONIGHT IS HEROES AND VILLAINS AT DRAGON CON!! #dragoncon #dcdj #ffxiv

I'll be at the Georgia Aquarium tonight for DragonCon at Night at the Georgia Aquarium and the #FFXIV Fish Scavenger Hunt!

Soon! See you all at the Sprout Social in an hour. 8:30 US Eastern.

I always intend to do FFXIV write but DragonCon eats the first week for me. I'll see if I can't get something written though. I have a few silly ideas for the Key prompt.

Its finally time for Dragon Con! Join me at the sprout social to meet new FFXIV friends and play some games~ then come around again for the Heroes and Villains ball for a 4 hour DJ set with cosplay dancers! #ffxiv #dragoncon

I'm part of @dcdmt.bsky.social at DragonCon this year! On top of my #FFXIV panel on Sunday, I'm going to talk about how you can use educational theory and techniques in your media! And! It doesn't feel like learning "stuff!" This will be streamed! (🔗later) Friday, 2:30pm Galleria 7 at the Hilton.

The sage on the mountain greeted the visitor. "I have been to the witch in the forest," the visitor said, "and the swordmaster in the city, and asked their advice." "Concerning what?" "How to live a good life. Now I ask you." "Be kind. Be yourself. Keep learning." "That's what they said, too."

Well damn. Damn damn damn damn damn damn damn.
