I'm sure X is remarkably friendly if you aren't the target of racial slurs and harassment campaigns. Anyway, I wonder how many "niggers" I'll have to sift through if I start posting there again?

Next time I see someone brag about all the small individual donors they have Iโ€™m not sure Iโ€™ll believe it. Go run a real campaign and inspire people. Donโ€™t trick vulnerable folks into donating money with desperate text messages.

Pet peeve: Cd times area is what matters for efficiency, not just Cd. Companies will brag about low Cd on a bloated SUV and itโ€™ll get reported as something impressive. For EVs the thing I actually care about is miles/kWh at different speeds, which is the result of Cd * A and drivetrain efficiency.

@propublica.org wtf is this. If this is backed up by facts then go research it yourselves. Thereโ€™s no reason to link to the Daily Caller. Also, Iโ€™d prefer you stay in the โ€œresearch something deeply for months, consult multiple expertsโ€ lane and not just try to be sensational.

I have emailed @wadems.org about this awful tactic before. No reply. I wonโ€™t give them a cent until they apologize and do better. (I will keep knocking doors to get out the vote so donโ€™t tell me to get off the couch and quit griping.) cc @shasti.bsky.social

The fundraising texts you delete are working on someone. Itโ€™s infuriating and heartbreaking. An 85yo in Ohio gave more than double the value of his home. A 91yo in an Indianapolis senior facility gave 25K times. The DCCC/DSCC donโ€™t just tolerate the spammers who exploit seniors. They take part.

Great article on whose grief makes the news and whose doesnโ€™t

just wait until he talks about how weโ€™re gonna reform our farce of a supreme court when we take back power, then itโ€™ll be a really good time

@robinsparkman.bsky.social youโ€™ve got the very best team in the world. Please give them what they want! Iโ€™m a regular donor and will increase my donation significantly this year (gotta get nine years of working for El*n off my conscience somehow) if the Guild is satisfied.

Fascists in Belfast set fire to buildings with people inside them. People of colour left work early to stay indoors. This is being actively encouraged by the worldโ€™s richest man whose openly pro-white nationalist platform X is still used by the UK government www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026...

If the magical median voter read the news or personally experienced even a fraction of the chaos, corruption, and actual violence this administration is causing, theyโ€™d make up their own mind and call it what it is.

What we call it, in one word, is irrelevant. The vast majority of people who say โ€œit isnโ€™t that badโ€ or โ€œit isnโ€™t fascismโ€ just arenโ€™t working with the same set of facts.

Unlike a wolf eating your sheep, words are squishy. Itโ€™s not an obvious fact to everyone (putting aside whether, in a better info environment, it would be) if itโ€™s fascism.

@repkimschrier.bsky.social this is primary juice. thanks for your healthcare advocacy but sorry Iโ€™ll be voting for someone who doesnโ€™t side with MAGA 20 percent of the time in the next election.

personally I think it's a very big deal that the Canada bureau chief for the @nytimes.com โ€” certainly one of the highest-paid journalists in the country โ€” asked an unspecified "AI tool" what Poilievre said & published its AI-hallucinated quotes in her reporting.

@timkmak.bsky.social it would be great to move The Counteroffensive to another platform. Iโ€™m still paying for it but I feel crummy every month when I see the receipt.
