For the second straight day, the White House's taxpayer-funded incitement account is attacking me and oddly mentioning I'm in my 40s (which I know makes me way too old for the president)
When they do this it results in a flood of harassing and threatening messages, which of course is the point
🚨BREAKING: Supreme Court DENIES Missouri’s emergency stay application leaving the 2022 congressional map protecting Black voters in Kansas City in place for the midterms.
A victory for Elias Law Group, its client and voters of Missouri!

Just noticed that in the order denying Minnesota's extradition request, the federal judge noted that the basis of Abbott's argument against extradition--that Castro was not a "fugitive" bc he had been transferred, not fled--has no support in caselaw and is contradicted by it.
Look, I know that nothing Abbott says is said in good faith, but ... come on.
Putting aside that this is not grounds for ignoring an extradition request, this isn't even how things work.
WALZ ISN'T OVERSEEING THE CASE.
Hennepin County's DA is. Walz is just "in charge" of the extradition.
If @andybeshearky.bsky.social can figure out how to be chill about DSA, so can The Bulwark:
“DSA candidates and other democrats may disagree on the best way to provide healthcare, but we all want it to be accessible, while they [GOP] pass tax breaks for the wealthy..."
This is a good story on how corrupt this dismissal is. Note, I did not realize Andrew DeFilippis, who left DOJ quickly and quietly amid multiple complaints tied to the Durham investigation, was involved.

Mike Rogers does the bidding of corporate special interests, supports all of Trump's price-hiking policies, and constantly dismisses Michiganders' concerns about rising costs. We are laser-focused on defeating him again this November - and @AbdulElSayed.bsky.social will get the job done.
Miles Taylor is right:
Trump claims he’s worried about election security while gutting the FBI’s election task force, DHS election teams, ODNI’s threat cells, and now leaving the EAC with zero leadership.
Weird way of showing you care.

When Elon Musk says "zero" children died in Africa from his DOGE cuts, he really means zero children died who are *worthy of any concern.* It's vile coded signaling to his global fascist audience.
From me and @polphilpod.bsky.social, a deep dive into Musk's fascism:

The pattern is unmistakable:
*Nobody died from USAID cuts.
*Nobody killed by ICE is innocent.
*No Muslim in the UK can escape the charge of being a rapist or a murderer.
*No Somali in Minnesota is there legitimately by definition.
And so on:

People who now complain about international sports organizations lifting suspensions & restrictions on Russia should have demanded that Israel be suspended by same organizations.
Instead most of them supported Israel's impunity, some vocally, believing its special treatment couldn't benefit Russia.
I see that Trump's been out campaigning for Democrats in the upcoming midterms again.
"People that own their homes - we're gonna keep them wealthy. We're gonna keep those prices up. We're not gonna destroy the value of their homes so that somebody who didn't work very hard can buy a home."
A proposed rule fueled by Trump’s conspiracy theories would require the USPS to keep a list of voters it believes should be allowed to vote by mail—and give them the power to hold those ballots hostage. Urge them to say NO and help protect voting by mail:

A bombshell Virginia redistricting ruling shakes the midterms map, Trump’s approval hits new lows, and fresh Iran clashes raise more questions than answers. Bright & early Mon., Talking Feds breaks down the fast-changing political landscape.
Jesus. Did that sergeant at arms walk there directly from the Pettus Bridge? The hair, the whole look, everything.
Make the photo B&W, and you wouldn't know if it was 2026 or 1965. And the reasons are the same. And the fight's the same.
Confederacy and Jim Crow lost before. They'll lose again.
Pretty interesting that the conservative pundits who were all over the media praising the Supreme Court for "standing up for the rule of law" with the Trump tariffs decision are suddenly REAL quiet about the Court murdering the Voting Rights Act
Georgia's supreme court elections are in just 19 days. And they're so important: Two liberal attorneys are aiming to oust a pair of GOP-appointed justices.
Voting rights already were a defining issue, & that was before Callais heightened the stakes.
So much to unpack here.

Every worker deserves safety, dignity, and the assurance that they will make it home to their families at the end of their work day. #MayDay is a reminder that solidarity is our greatest strength, and the fight for workers rights is deeply connected with immigrant rights 💪
As gas prices soar and families struggle..... Congress races for the exit and Trump talks golf and granite upgrades

“A shell company backed by Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump has merged with a critical minerals group that last year secured up to $1.6bn in US government support to mine tungsten in Kazakhstan.”
Under the Justice Manual, prosecutors can only commence a case if they believe it's "more likely than not" they'll secure a conviction that will survive appeal.
Responding to my question on the Comey seashells case, Todd Blanche said "I do not know what a jury of his peers will do at a trial."
Q: How confident are you that the Comey case will result in a conviction?
BLANCHE: If there's a prosecutor in this country that speaks about what a jury will do, they're not living up to their oath. This case was investigated for the past year.
Kash Patel severed “all ties” with the SPLC in Oct 2025
Then indicted them for the very cooperation he ended

May I ask… what is wrong with my colleagues? I should be able to vote and have it counted fairly and accurately. If you can’t defend that basic idea, you should quit your job.
