Today in NY (& across the country) we stood in solidarity w/ Texas dem state legislators who are doing their job working for the people—standing up to a wannabe king. Just like the Texas legislators, NYers will fight back bc just like Texas no one messes w/ NY & in every state…people hold the power.

Earlier this morning, #InvestInOurNY and 48 other organzations released a statement, urging Gov. Hochul, Speaker Heastie, and Leader Stewart-Cousins to convene a special session and protect New Yorkers from the Federal Budget Scam. New Yorkers can't wait any longer for lawmakers to fight back.
