🔴 NEW 🔴 Campaigners are now demanding a parliamentary investigation into Reform MP Sarah Pochin following a donation to her office by food industry millionaires. 📝 @desmog.com & @goodlawproject.org report 👇🏻

We should be able send robots off to handle all these issues at very low cost.

These incidents should lead to a reduction of fishing gear waste! The whales are getting entangled because of ocean littering. It should be strictly enforced by DFO. apple.news/AyQAPPaCcQPi...

5.18% thats junk.

JUST IN: The 30-year US Treasury yield just surged to 5.18%, its highest level in 19 years. The last time it was this high was 2007, right before the financial crisis. Back then, the national debt was $8.4 trillion. Today it’s $39.4 trillion. Same interest rate. Almost 5 times the debt.

How does anybody justify this? "Amazon cant afford a minimum wage." Imagine trying to convince the stupidest person you ever met on this one.

Anti-Reform@antireform.bsky.social

Ending superrich bosses Government subsidies and making them pay decent wages and fair share of taxes is a better way of ending poverty than cutting minimum wages or reducing worker rights "The outrageous reason employees receive benefits is they're not being paid enough" via The UK Against Hate

Long overdue. Dont force Europe to do it for you again.

Isn't it time that we all grew up and started behaving like sensible adults again. This current scene is what you'd expect to find if every politician was replaced by a son or daughter under 12 years old and given free reign for a year or two.

Exclusive: A new bill that had been championed by the late Sen. Lindsey Graham would give President Trump fresh authority to impose tariffs on the largest importers of Russian energy, in legislation designed to punish Moscow for the invasion of Ukraine.

This is a fast growing theme. Softare began as something you bought and implented if you were small or hired contractors to implemnet if your were big, then it was yours. AI right right now means trusting your life to a foreigner. Theres a lot to learn and to change.

Well done Coventry, let's hope the rest of the UK follow

Instead of playing into the hands of Trump and Musk to embarrass Europe, the leftovers of the Nazi past, which are indeed dead, should now be put to rest officially and Trump and Putin invited to a ceremony to burty them for the last time.

⚡️ In joint appeal, Ukrainian and Polish media sound alarm over crisis in relations. Six Polish and Ukrainian media outlets issued a rare joint appeal on June 23, warning that escalating tensions between the two countries risk playing into Russia's hands.

If you are worried about Benefit Fraud £0.5bn but not Government Corruption £219bn. Immigration £2bn but not Tax Havens £150bn. Junior Doctors pay rises £1.3bn but not Bankers tax cuts £7.3bn. You‘re buying their lies.

Sales of yachts and expensive cars should enjoy a substantial jump in the next few weeks.

The wait is over: six months after EU leaders agreed on the €90 billion support loan, Ukraine has received the first payment, worth €3.2 billion. A second tranche of €6 billion, destined for drone production, is expected in the coming days.

This the type of Tyranny our forefathers faught in the 17th and 18th centuries. Only its far, far worse. Elections are funny little ceremony they pay fr from time to time to make us believe we have a say. NO MORE ELECTIONS until we tackle the real problem.

Ten years after the Brexit vote, the bill is brutal. Britain has paid for Nigel Farage’s lie with two million fewer jobs, £27bn in lost trade, an economy up to 8% smaller and costs estimated at £90bn every year. 1/2

Every commentator Ive heard or ead sounds incredibly nailve. American pushed Starmer out and anyone that threatens total power of American Social Media platforms over European and British politicis will get the same treatment. And the plan is ?

One of the Wigan cllrs who posed with the Jimmy Savile poster in Wigan (which @bylinetimes.bsky.social first reported) has admitted the picture was real after all. After ignoring our calls and emails, and Reform figures cast doubt on it. She admitted this after Makerfield's polls closed last night.

Well done to the demonstrators who turned out in their masses to counter the far right in Brighton. Good people outnumber these hateful little nobodies and always will.

Why cant we finance and encourage more of this vital work and less of the madness like oil wars and fake AI.

Two jewish people were stabbed in Golders Green. An Iranian Christian journalist was stabbed near Downing Street. A Sikh woman was raped, by a rapist who believed she was muslim. The government has focused on only 1 of these awful crimes- that of the stabbings in Golders Green.

The death of the fourth estate over two decades has disempowered voters. Those that feel enfranchised are the least so. Voters in UK especially, have no power over government. Today, there is really not a single moderate, reasonably honest and reasonably capable candidate. Pretty hopeless.

WillieMillersMoustache@williemillersm1.bsky.social

Is the UK ungovernable again with a healthy portion of maybe it's the voters fault on the side. Well, whoever is at fault it sure as fuck isn't the cheerleaders and courtiers in the press who brute force shitfested yet another gang of grasping tory bastards into power. Is it? Heavens no. Imagine.

This bullshit is just beyond ridiculous. Why insult us all by giving it a pet name, just get on with removing rights and doing whatever the ***k you feel like doing. The fake trial at the moment is breathtaking in its dishonesty and the level of insult to everyone.

Amazon, Meta, and Microsoft are all planning huge layoffs. Amazon got $17.5B in federal tax breaks last year. Jeff Bezos is worth $271B. Meta saved $13.7B in taxes. Mark Zuckerberg is worth $231B. Microsoft saved $12.5B last year. Its CEO is worth $1.3B. This is what a rigged economy looks like.

Well spotted James. The numbers reduced dramatically and now theres a deal with France to genuinely tackle it now that we are renewing relations with Europe. Enough said about that awful embarrassment and what Brexit has cost us. Farage is hungry rat looking for a corpse to scrape something off.

James O’Brien@mrjamesob.bsky.social

Apart from the actual stats, the most reliable indicator that immigration is plunging (to our obvious economic detriment) is Nigel Farage turning his dishonest attentions to the mythical millions of benefits claimants.

WE should ignore them and have as little as possible to do with them from here on in. Its in everybodys interests.

Everybody on Earth knows this.
