I post a lot about Indigenous struggles in "canada", as well as decolonial anarchy. Defend the land, liberate Indigenous territory. Form relationships, create subsistence and live in autonomous communities.

The only reason folks are talking about the French uprisings, ongoing for over a month, is because they escalated to rioting. The idea that that rioting and property destruction are bad for movement perception is just false, even if your goal is something as impoverished as media attention

The French student uprising thats been ongoing for weeks has hit a major day of action and almost all of central paris is in riot and Ive seen barely a peep about it or any other street resistance on here and its genuinely extremely frustrating that this place is so weak on uprising news and info

Almost every time an antifascist is assaulted by someone on the far right at a protest/counter protest/certain events etc, there are people who immediately go to the cops and ask “why aren’t you arresting them?”

If there ever was a moment flashing like a giant neon sign, this is the time to get into tabling physical media (zines/posters/stickers/whatever) out in the world. As bleak as things are, I promise you they feel less so when you hand someone a zine and they eagerly run off to read it.

For any culture to be sustainable in any particular place—and it seems self-evident that on a finite planet the only culture worth having is a sustainable one—it must have a deep and intimate relationship with that place.

This quote sums up nicely my thoughts on many of the dated tendencies of classical anarchism. It would be more accurate now to say: Anarchisms lone objective is to stop industrialization from making life on Earth uninhabitable.

Anarchism's lone objective is to reach a point at which the belligerence of some humans against humanity, in whatever form, comes to a halt. Gustav Landauer

"Reconciliation is about resolving a conflict, returning to a state of friendly relations. So how can the Canadian state reconcile with Indigenous peoples? They certainly can’t “go back” to a state of friendly relations because there never existed such a time." - Tawinikay

Whenever I'm feeling down I always remind myself that the vast majority of clandestine actions don't get claimed. The ones we're lucky to hear about are just the tip of the iceberg. And that puts a smile on my face

Time for all the syndicalists and large anarchist orgs to try to downplay the brave resistance taken by the Prairieland defendants. As if making them sound toothless and defenseless will magically get them free?
