One for the streams? @rosetintedspectrum.bsky.social youtu.be/JQnQ0HJ_VeU?...

@rosetintedspectrum.bsky.social Playing an episode of Gamesmaster at PlayExpo, but it’s not the same without your commentary! I’ve been spoilt!

My wife is up in Newcastle, staying with friends, having done the Great North Run. But I suddenly worry for her safety with what she’s found in their house!! @rosetintedspectrum.bsky.social

A bit of retro seen in the National Museum of Iceland.

I’m off to Iceland for a holiday at the weekend, and because of @rosetintedspectrum.bsky.social’s Byker Grove video we’ve booked a trip to see puffins!! #itspuffintime

@rosetintedspectrum.bsky.social

Mum sent me a nice little retro bookmark of the day I got my Amiga A500! #retro #commodore #amiga

I’m always intrigued by the books @jasoncompton.bsky.social has behind him during @thisweekinretro.bsky.social. Compelling covers and interesting titles that hint at the tale within. Reminds me of buying Acorn Electron games in the 80s. No screenshots. Just a title and picture. Each game a mystery

Went back home town for my mum’s 70th birthday and Mother’s Day, and oh my fuck. I think I’ve found where they retired… @rosetintedspectrum.bsky.social

Finally beaten Monty On The Run after nearly a year of trying! No save states, start to finish with two lives left. I need a holiday after that. A short break away! I wasn’t quick enough to get a screenie of the ending, but here’s the last screen and my high score! #zxspectrum #retrogaming

Now we’re talking!!!

@rosetintedspectrum.bsky.social Fuck sake! Now my wife is doing it!!!

Not much of an end screen, but a nice animation of Frank Nitty falling from the roof into a car. That’s The Untouchables completed. Onwards! #zxspectrum #zxspectrumnext #retro

Can’t decide which version of Aliens Neoplasma to play! Speccy 128k or Speccy Next! #zxspectrum #zxspectrumnext

Funded in about 7 mins and 10 seconds! Next fans are just awesome! Thank you!!!! www.kickstarter.com/projects/spe...

Finally finished Knightmare from @tomjamespotter.bsky.social! Brilliant and faithful recreation of the much loved ITV show. Rock hard game, but very satisfying completing it. Shame there were no Catacombites, as I always found those terrifying as a child! Maybe for Knightmare 2? #zxspectrum

@tomjamespotter.bsky.social Greetings! Loving Knightmare, truly a great recreation of the show! But I’m stuck! Folly keeps being mean to me! The first two goes I got past his “Play Your Cards Right” puzzle, but haven’t been able to do it since! Is there a pattern to it, or is it just random? Help!

What's Zippy wearing this week? Or, more's the point, who's wearing Zippy? Let's find out in the Rainbow house.

If anyone fancies donating, I'm attempting to run the length from Gaza to Jerusalem over the course of a month, raising money for medical aid in Palestine.

I haven’t tried to complete an Ultimate game since I finished Alien 8 last year. So let’s give Knight Lore a go. I recall it being much easier than Alien 8! #zxspectrum #zxspectrumnext #retro #8bit

Been sorting the office, and tidying up all the retro type things.

Finally got a display case for all of our Animal Crossing Lego!

Dusted and moved the Mr Benn’s around!

One year ago today this lovely creation finally arrived at my home! 42 games completed in the first year! #zxspectrum #retro #zxspectrumnext

Bear stairs!!!

This is really sad. RZX Archive has long been the go to channel for Speccy walkthroughs. All those countless hours spent on these videos just gone puff :(

Channel advert time: I'm here to get absolutely toilet brained about old things you probably thought you loved, but you didn't actually. Unless you did. Covering the weird and wonderful world of mouldy old tripe from UK gaming and TV of the '80s and '90s. www.youtube.com/rosetintedspectrum
