Welcome to the Plutocracy

Tell me again how they are not trying to keep people from voting.... apnews.com/article/pass...

This is meant to keep us from voting. I've been married for almost half my life and all my documents, excluding my birth certificate has my LEGAL, government approved name on it. They required a real ID to fly. I did that. How much more expense should I have to go through to prove my own identity?

This should alarm everyone. The FBI searched a journalist’s home and seized her work devices, despite no criminal charges. This is a direct threat to press freedom.

I truly believe this year will be worse than last year.

I can't believe what I read about Venezuela this morning. I can't believe our Congress is not stopping this. How much longer do we allow Trump and his handlers to destroy our country and run roughshod over everyone else?

Republicans have the house, senate, and presidency, yet many in maga are still convinced they are the victims. You’re only a victim of being mislead to believe Trump cares about anything but himself

No kings!!

Trump’s reckless and discriminatory travel ban doesn’t make us safer. All it will do is further isolate the United Statesfrom our allies and weaken our global leadership.

The same people who went apoplectic when asked to wear a mask to *protect people* in a pandemic eagerly wear one to *kidnap people* in Gestapo cosplay.

NRA in 2020: "We need guns to resist tyranny!" NRA in 2021: "We need guns to resist tyranny!" NRA in 2022: "We need guns to resist tyranny!" NRA in 2023: "We need guns to resist tyranny!" NRA in 2024: "Ya know, tyranny's not so bad."

Wearing a bright blue suit, texting, and then sleeping at Pope Francis’s funeral. What an embarrassing mess.

I went to my very first protest today. I am over 50 and was proud to stand against tryanny today!

At least one US president cares to denounce this attack.

All I’m saying is that President Harris wouldn’t have us looking at the futures market on a Sunday night.

Wow!

Half of the United States has been slowly and carefully inculcated by Fox News to believe that the other half of the country is their enemy and out to ruin their lives. Once this was established, it didn't take long for those viewers to value hurting these other Americans over helping themselves.

What a weekend! Across the U.S., over 100,000 Americans mobilized — including more than 34,000 attendees at the Bernie/AOC rally, marking the biggest political event since Obama. Protests erupted in multiple states to defend Social Security, Tesla takedown protest gained momentum, and so much more!

Where are the checks and balances we are supposed to have? Why doesn't Congress grow a spine and do their job?

The new word I learned today....Icestapo.

If America survives the Trump era, we will deserve a long vacation.

If you live in NC, call every Republican politician you know. Call every farmer you know and ask them to do the same When money walks , voters talk. Make sure they know this effects everyone in their town and state www.wunc.org/news/2025-03...

Getting rid of the American workers who take care of American veterans is wrong. Veterans will not take this sitting down - we can make this the newest example of Trump being forced to back down from a bad move.

Our stock market is crashing. Our economy is contracting. Our government is dismantling. Our allies are fleeing. Our grocery prices are rising. But at least we now call it "The Gulf of America." So it all evens out.

Don’t buy today. Give the greedheads a taste of their own medicine.

History will remember this day— when an American President and Vice President abandoned all we stand for.

Saw this on FB and thought it should be here too.

I'm feeling nostalgic for competence.

Taken at Bluebill Trail in Oregon several years ago.

It will always be the Gulf of Mexico and Mt Denali to me.

Love Madrone trees!

Dear Mexico, Canada, Panama, and Europe: 100 percent tariffs on Tesla.

My heart goes out to all the families affected by last night's crash.

Trump is an extremely dangerous man--stupid, vindictive, fixated on payback for his enemies. This country will be lucky to survive him.

I think it is clear Trump is delusional if he thinks other countries will bow down to him. bit.ly/4hAhtuh

No water in the plane; No air conditioning, Brazilians deported from America arrive in handcuffs and shackles Rio de Janeiro: Dozens of immigrants deported from the US arrived in Brazil by plane in handcuffs. The Brazilian government has expressed displeasure on this. She has said that she will…

If someone asking a powerful person to show kindness to those without power offends your Christianity, your Christianity would offend Jesus. www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...

Why can't I see all of those who are following me?

I'm here to try something new. Facebook has been letting us down for too long.
