Turns out trans rights are connected to the rights and safety of everyone in a very literal way. All the energy spent going after us is done to cover up climate change. Frankly, most of us already knew we were being used as a red herring. Now we know more of the specifics.

News outlets like @wsj.com have a critical responsibility to report the truth. Promoting false information that ties our LGBTQ+ community to the Utah shooting is reckless, irresponsible, and puts trans people especially in danger. Anyone with a platform must do better. Lives are on the line.
