People talk about Bluesky users "being in a bubble" like it's a bad thing but the more I think about it the more I kinda like it? A protective bubble I could deploy for me and my friends sounds great. I wouldn't want to be in it all the time though, maybe if it had a 10 second cooldown and 650 HP?

I don't give a shit about the imperial court drama wrt the reflecting pool but I *do* resent that people keep invoking Creature of the Black Lagoon in reference to it: actually if you watch the movie the water was always gorgeous and crystal clear. That was the big tech achievement of the film.

The fact is you have pulled on the thread of juvenile slander themes: a full and expressive genre of urban legend with its own language and conventions. The song not being taken as a homophobic slur requires the framing of the genre and casting the genre aside leads to the default and obvious.
