When I purchased something, I want my money to support a company that cares about their ethics. When you use AI, it tells me you don’t care about ethics. You’re ok with stealing from other artists, taking shortcuts for profit and the impact your company is having on the environment isn’t a concern.

So, if it's narrowed to Firefox (& variants) on my lappy, it's got to be the security/privacy settings, bc that's the biggest difference btwn phone & desktop I have. Looking thru settings, it seems likely the problem is the Enhanced Tracking Protection stripping images of data. Trying exception.

I cannot understand why screenshots I upload to bluesky are doing this. I screenshot anything and try to post it here, it's fekt. I try to upload the same screenshot to anything else, it's fine. Do I need to do some kind of wild three-step upload process to get bluesky to behave? Fekn hell.

THE 5 STAGES of #LayApologist "DEBATE" 🧵 A Thread Talking to #Christian & #Muslim lay-apologists is a grief process parallel. Much like classical grief stages, they don't always progress in a strict sequence, & may happen in conjunction. E.g. someone in Denial may also show Anger, etc. #apologetics

STAGE 4: DEPRESSION / RESIGNATION Resignation &/or admission that further argument is not possible or fruitful. This tends to end the call/discussion. ‣ "I guess I have a lot to think about." ‣ "Okay, I'm gonna go read about this & come back." ‣ "It doesn't sound like we're going to agree."

STAGE 5: ACCEPTANCE / DECONSTRUCTION This will almost certainly not happen on an initial call, but if the guest is honest they may eventually begin the process of reassessing what they believe & why. ‣ "Since we last talked I've been kind of deconstructing. Can I ask you some questions?"

STAGE 1: DENIAL / NUH-UH Flat refusals to accept the point. Typically easy to refute by simply showing them the evidence, usually the text itself. ‣ "There is no contradiction." ‣ "You're mistaken." ‣ "It doesn't say that."
