When Ross Douthat tries to twist physics into an argument for Christian Creationism, he ends up making the Christian god into a minor weakling who must obey a mathematical order that preceded the god's existence. And who made that? Douthat doesn't even think to ask that.

Ross Douthat argues that the Christian god is not all-powerful after all, but is a wimp who is unable to defy mathematics. Ross Douthat's fine tuning argument is crude and sloppy. www.stopchristiannationalism.com/douthat/cosm...

EFT Tapping is magical pseudoscience. Reality is reality. It isn't created by "your energy". Forget the quantum energy BS. It's total bunk. Emotion Freedom Techniques are not trustworthy. Tapping is faith healing, not science-informed therapy.

EFT Tapping gurus have no shame. They claim that if you employ their services, you will magically manifest huge piles of money. Money doesn't come from tapping your face. Emotional Freedom Technique is not therapy. It's a fraud.

The BS of EFT Tapping is exposed through the absolutely insane nonscientific claims that Emotional Freedom Techniques Tapping will bring them money magically flowing into their wallets. EFT is a scam. It's fraud. It's New Age manifestation snake oil.

Emotional Freedom Techniques - also known as EFT tapping - is a gimmick used by scammers to take advantage of gullible people. Tapping your face doesn't bring you money or love or mental health. Be good to yourself. Walk away from EFT tapping scams.

Don't become a victim of EFT tapping scams. Tapping your face and mumbling affirmations won't make you rich, won't make you mentally healthy, won't get rid of that bad boyfriend. Emotional Freedom Therapy is New Age mumbo jumbo. Don't fall for it. Get genuine professional help.

The benefits of EFT tapping in the Emotional Freedom Therapy are remarkably... nonexistent. It's empty faith healing. Don't fall for this gimmick. You can't tap your way to health. You already know this is a scam. You're smarter than EFT.

EFT Tapping is a MANIFESTATION of mental illness, not a treatment for it. Obsessively tapping your face and muttering is not a reliable pathway to mental health. Buyer beware: Emotional Freedom "Therapy" is a New Age gimmick, not a science-based practice.

The US government has jumped headfirst into insanity. Under Pete Hegseth, the US military will now subject soldiers to religious tests of their "spiritual fitness". This comes from a military that insists that bombing a school full of children was perfectly fine. ffrf.org/news/release...

EFT Tapping is snake oil. You don’t create mental health and happiness by obsessively tapping your face. So-called Emotional Freedom Therapy is just a rehashed kind of faith healing. Don’t fall for the gimmick. Say no to EFT Tapping scammers.

EFT Tapping is based on the belief that tapping your face obsessively while muttering the same phrases over and over is a reliable path to mental health. Emotional Freedom Therapy is snake oil. It's not based on reliable independent science. It's faith healing. We can do better.

EFT tapping is a New Age religious practice, derived from the rituals and beliefs a 20th century Japanese religious sect. It is in no sense scientifically based. Emotional Freedom Therapy certainly won't bring loads of money magically into your life, as many practitioners suggest. It's snake oil.

The Ohm@ohmtheohm.bsky.social

The New Age religious practice of EFT (Emotional Freedom Therapy tapping) masquerades as mental health, but is in fact riddled with get rich quick schemes promising magic money in exchange for paid tapping services. Tapping your wrist won't bring you money. There are no chakras. EFT is a scam.

EFT tapping is religion. It asks therapists to tell their clients that they have invisible magic energies that do not exist. "Emotional Freedom Therapy" is hocus pocus, not scientifically-valid therapy. Leave EFT to the New Age festivals. Leave EFT out of therapy.

Cryptocurrency has never been more protected from regulation... and it keeps on falling in price anyway, because ultimately, it's nothing but a puffcake of delusion and greed.

Did you know that roughly 1 in 3 Gen Z Americans are religious "nones"? That makes Gen Z the least religious American generation to enter adulthood, contrary to the popular narrative that Gen Z is 'getting more religious.' #America250 #LightingTheWay #FFRF #GenZ #Atheist

The US military has declared that there are no atheists in its ranks. At the same time, Pete Hegseth prays to Jesus to kill his enemies. American Christianity has become a cult of brutality.

I don’t give a damn about the Knicks. I care about the war against Iran. I care that climate change is hurting people. I care that corruption is replacing democracy. I care that digital media is fueling mass illiteracy. Yet even here on Bluesky, the top trend: Basketball. The fucking Knicks.

Nonreligious Americans: you are not alone! Remember as this country celebrates its 250th birthday that 28% to 29% of American adults are religiously unaffiliated (Pew). Together, we are #LightingTheWay to a brighter, more secular tomorrow. #America250 #FFRF

“Before judgment comes”? Christians like Graham are already judging LGBTQ people, nonbelievers, women, and anyone outside their worldview. America doesn’t need to “turn back to God.” We need to protect each other from the fear, cruelty, and division pushed by Graham and his ilk.

FBI claimed the teenagers who killed 3 people at a mosque "did not discriminate on who they hated", but that isn't true. The killers' manifesto expressed hatred toward Jews, Muslims, women, black people, LGBTQ people, & non-Christians. They were violent Christian extremists. They were Nazis.

If fear of divine punishment is the only thing stopping someone from committing crimes, that’s not morality. And given his own track record, it clearly hasn’t worked very well for him either.
