further enshittification of the internet, this somehow went into my spam despite the invite only being good for tonight so i almost completely missed it

I'm noticing a trend where I sometimes get really depressed at night for no real reason and I wake up fine the next day. 🤔

It's interesting having the kind of face where people can't tell you've been crying even when you can still feel the tear streaks on your cheeks.

And if I decide to get cremated should I do the same with my own? 🤔🤔🤔

What should I do with my tragically deceased dog's ashes?

its very telling that critics in more left leaning spaces are obviously bummed out about corporations destroying the teams that worked on games they were often heavily critical of whereas grifters are reacting to bioware, 343 etc as personal victories in the war against blue hair and pronouns

I still remember going to a gym with my sister and having a panic attack, then having to leave.

I never really danced until moving here 11 months ago. I still don't fully understand why I enjoy it so much, but don't think I would have liked it as an egg. It's like really inhabiting my body. And potentially having that writhing body displayed. Neither of which would have felt good before.

I'm just not sure if somatic therapy is right for me. It's hard for my brain not to get in the way. I do the things and I definitely feel the things, so maybe it's working? What does working look like?

Had a thought today that if I had been born as a cis woman, with where I had grown up, I'd likely have a way more boring life than I do now. I could see myself easily being miserable.

And there's nothing wrong with that! That's great for some people! Because of that I'm sure I would have tried to convince myself that it would have been great for me, but I'm pretty sure it never would have been. It would have been a societal expectation that I went along with.

I can't say that I'd be miserable. I would probably want different things from life. Yet, I can't imagine that even if I was cis, that I'd be fulfilled being a mother with one husband, living in a small town, but I'm pretty positive that's where I would have ended up.

Not everything is the easiest, but it's at least fun and interesting. And I don't think I've been happier for a length of time than I have been this past year.

My following feed is too massive and uninteresting and my mutual feed is too short. I think I need to put some work into this app if I intend to use it again. Or maybe there's just a better way that I don't know about???

I destroyed my feet last Saturday dancing in new boots. I can only hope they heal enough that I don't destroy them again dancing tomorrow.

Having one of those days where my bladder might be the only thing that'll save me from lying in bed all day feeling sad. Thank you for your service, necessary bodily functions 🫡

It’s important to note: For as much as the fascist Gender Inspectors stoke panic about kids being transitioned against their will (sheer poppycock) they NEVER talk about the medical reality of “normalizing” gender in the case of intersex people. We are an inconvenient truth, willfully erased.
