Alina Habba in Feb: “On Epstein, it’s incredibly disturbing. We have flight logs, info, names that will come out. There were so many names hidden who had not been held accountable. Now it’s time for accountability. I really believe with Kash and Pam there will be accountability.”

If you don’t know how cooked we are. This is where we are at. This pot is boiling, frogs, and we’d better put out the fire and fast. Because that man is not alone in thinking this way. We are all about to be served on platters for oligarchs.

If we don’t talk about it, then it doesn’t exist..climate change you said? We don’t know what that is. The website that hosts the most recent edition of the National Climate Assessment has gone dark. The report is the most influential source of information about how climate change affects the US.

Budzinski: Families making over $700,000 a year will see a boost of $12,000 almost entirely from tax cuts. Shockingly, households making $23,000 a year or less are set to lose about $1600 a year, mostly due to deep cuts to Medicaid and food assistance

Yikes. Karoline Leavitt's statement basically completely confirms CNN's reporting. This is really bad for the White House and should be a major scandal. Trump lied. Again.

CNN: Three sources tell CNN that according to an early U.S. Intelligence assessment, the U.S. Military strikes on three of Iran's nuclear facilities last weekend did not destroy the core components of the country's nuclear program and likely only set it back a few months

Raise your voice for every baby who shouldn’t go hungry. Raise your voice for every senior who shouldn’t be kicked out of a nursing home. Raise your voice for every American who shouldn’t lose their health care. Make those calls. Pressure your senator. Keep it up.

By the way, the US striking Iran’s nuclear facilities and infrastructure gives Russia the green light to strike Ukraine’s nuclear facilities & infrastructure. This is another reason it’s forbidden under international law. Trump is escalating danger everywhere.

#RepublicanPlaybook: 1) enrich the rich 2) destroy the economy for the working class 3) enter into an unnecessary war in the Middle East. Once we’re out of this, I want to see the US invest HEAVILY in #education. Free schooling and free secondary schooling. And obviously free #healthcare too

If you were too young in 2003 here is what Bush told the American people: 1) The Iraq War won’t cost a lot of money 3) We won’t need a lot of troops 4) We’ll bring peace and freedom to Iraq 5) We’ll find WMDs 6) We’ll be welcomed as liberators 7) It will be easy 8) It won’t take long All lies.

Celebrate Juneteenth today! This is still a new holiday- and one I am glad has not been swept away. For many years the whitewashing of American History kept many of us from knowing this story. Here is an uplifting story about carrying forward culture and history. We need to celebrate and remember.

npr.orgOn Juneteenth, she celebrates the role quilts may have played in Underground RailroadEdith Edmunds, who is 99 years old, the art of quilt making is inextricably linked to the Black struggle for freedom. That's why she plans to be sewing Thursday on Juneteenth.

I actually really enjoy my paid holidays so he can stfu

Time for a General Strike! “Two Week” Trump is trying to get rid of holidays for working class people. He’s cost the US economy trillions of dollars in losses in the last 6 months and financially ruined millions of hardworking families. #3E #generalstrike

On the 160th anniversary of Juneteenth, we remember when freedom arrived late in Galveston, TX. Today, on Freedom Day, we honor the resilience of Black Americans and re-affirm our commitment to equity and justice for all.

I’m so disheartened about the recent posts from the #EPA. That organization has done so much for the environment and human health. And now it’s taken over to be “economically friendly” to big corporations avoiding important regulations. #savetheEPA

The at home assassination of a state lawmaker should be getting a bigger reaction from the President than someone throwing a rock at a Tesla dealership.

On Juneteenth, we celebrate freedom and recommit ourselves to the work that remains undone. We remember that even in the darkest hours, there is cause to hope for tomorrow’s light.

opening a protected national park to oil drilling. Under this bill, they’d have to front possibly millions just to get a judge to pause the project while the case is heard. Even with a strong case, the price tag alone could shut them down.

The Senate added a provision that would force anyone trying to block the federal government in court to pay a massive upfront bond, no exceptions, no matter your income. Judges wouldn’t be allowed to lower or waive it, even if someone’s rights are being violated.

Will Americans come out of this and actually work together again? That’s my biggest hope and the reason I hope we’re going through this. I want us to be able to talk and reach real solutions again. I want reform of this whole system that doesn’t work for anyone but the ultrawealthy.

And i know so many of us are mad at MAGAts and what they did, but we’re going to need them for major reform. We need widely popular policies and for the propaganda networks to go away so they can’t make up some bullshit lie about a policy because of who thought it up

I just looked up how executive orders even became a thing and now see they are part of the constitution and can be overridden by congress. Of course, the current repubs are absolute cowards but can’t our democratic reps and senators introduce legislation at least?? Have it on record??

Every flashbang could instead be a meal for a poor kid. Every hotel room for a National Guardsman deployed to fire at our neighbors could house a homeless vet. Every "less-than-lethal" bullet pulled from a journalist's eye could be already needed healthcare for anyone else. All of this is a choice.

On June 14th, we show up. Coalition members will be present at all 1,800 events nationwide, over 90,000 strong, helping monitor local conditions. Many veterans have stepped forward to support protesters, stand in solidarity, and defend our right to be heard. We thank them.

I will be damned if I allow a bunch of Confederate-waving January 6th apologists give the American people a lecture on flag waving. There is ZERO reason to enter an argument about patriotism with people who still worship traitors to America 150+ years later. They. Are. Breaking. The. Law.

I want to report some good news from LA: ICE picked a hotel in Pasadena to be their headquarters for this side of the city. The residents of Pasadena (myself included) would not stand for this and protested all yesterday in front of the hotel until, eventually, the hotel kicked out ICE!!
