If anyone has one of those big long sticks with the hook on the end, I would ask to be dragged out of the Mountain Goats wiki again.

The Mountain Goats!

Deafkids last night, whopper stuff.

Kicking this #newmusicfriday off with the new Hatalom for good techy riffs.

This Goblin Cock album rips, and I'm not afraid to say it.

Sometimes I think about what if we knew each other for longer than we actually have. New eight-page comic drawn by @bamccray.bsky.social and written by me. You can read “Dog Movies” below or buy a high-res .pdf on a PWYW basis (process files available for $6USD): hagaipalevsky.itch.io/dog-movies

Forgot to post the team ahead of time, but no changes from last week worked out well at 86 points, even with some left on the bench. Fairly of the mind to leave it alone for next week too, though it goes against my instincts. #fpl gameweek 6.

They didn't quite nail the translation of "Other Mommy" here.

Had a dream that in order to combat male pattern baldness I had hundreds of staples tacked into my scalp. Could feel it in the dream.

it’s october 3rd 💗

Through no fault of my own* I've only managed to eat a Rich Tea biscuit, two pieces of dark chocolate and one piece of whole nut chocolate (thankfully containing a hazelnut). *based in readily available information on 2 October 2026.

Can't say there's nothing to listen to today anyway.

Would love to click on a bandcamp link and for the app to open. Could you imagine...

Hell yeah!

A riff can never lie to you. It either rips or it doesn't.

Reminded I ran the NIN gamut with some friends on discord on surprised myself with my final rankings.

On a big electronics buzz today, fulfilled by these fine treats.

Tonight's big screener.

Finished this one a few days back. Absolutely fantastic. Kind of asks how do you deal with a problem you can't remember, and the thought puzzles that going into that will set a warm glow inside your noggin. Big thumbs up.

Really enjoyed this. Not what I was expecting going in, but certainly captures the energy of a panicky gamer trying to play a Resident Evil game.

Tonight's big screener.

I absolutely love Hitman, and I have since I was a kid. So, it was a thrill to put together an oral history of that incredible, and incredibly weird, DC Comics series, with insight from Garth Ennis, John McCrea, the book's main editors in Peter Tomasi and Dan Raspler, and more.

Absolute magic here.
