minnesota overall is at 150% of the votes cast at this point in 2022 while minneapolis is at 175%. the gap between minneapolis and the state has grown since last friday. assuming st paul is close to minneapolis (which i think is fair)- that would mean that either suburbs or rurals are behind.
Peggy Flanagan's campaign shares some "facts from the ground" today: *540,347 Minnesotans have already voted, breaking records for early voting engagement in a midterm election. *That’s up from 358,648 at the same point in 2022. *Voters in Dem strongholds are turning out at record-high numbers.

before the election, doing dogpile coverage on Trump's heavily documented and extremely plausible rape allegations would be Political and therefore improper. after the election it's time to turn the page, let bygones be bygones, look forward not backward, bsky.app/profile/hoff...

🧵 Minneapolis early voting thru Monday. 7 full early voting days to go, but precincts in blue at/above 2022 *total* early vote. Orange = below ‘22’s total , but again, full week to go. Only 1 precinct (7-10 in Stevens Square) is below 70% of ‘22. Pace seems certain to smash 2018 midterm record (52k)
