Hey there! I'm a Freelance Manga Letterer who has worked on titles for many different publishers such as Seven Seas, Yen Press, J-Novel Club, and Kodansha. These are some of the titles that I've worked on so far. This will be an ever-growing list, more titles will be added as they come out.

Today an older Japanese man came up to me and asked if we could speak in English. I mentioned that I was from Toronto and he immediately showed me his belt buckle with the Toronto Maple Leafs logo on it. All my life experiences so far has never prepared me for such a moment.

I’ll be at Anime North again this year, and this time I’ll be doing THREE panels! Be sure to check them out if you’re interested! #AnimeNorth2026

I'm really not excited about this acquisition in the slightest. Only time will tell I guess, but I have major concerns about how they'll plan to operate the company and what it means for the freelancers working with them.

It's such an honour to be featured in something such as this, something I would have never expected. It's definitely a great feeling to know that the work I do is being appreciated.

Our second #LettererAppreciationMonth feature comes from Level Up With the Gods, Vol. 1! Letterer @fog.mediocrity.ca skillfully enters in the English translation into every item in this pop-up that Yuwon's seeing—and on an angle too! #LettererAppreciationDay

I'll be taking part in two panels at Otakuthon this year, bringing over the "What Is Manga Lettering?" panel from Anime North and going over the process of Manga Simulpublishing! Come check it out if you're interested in the manga localization process! #otakuthon2025

I’m officially lettering with the gods according to the screentoneys, which makes it like super duper extra official. I don’t make the rules, y’all just gotta deal with it.

The Screentoney Award for "Lettering with the Gods" goes to @fog.mediocrity.ca

Reminder that this is happening today! #AnimeNorth2025

Manga lettering, like composting in animation, is a job that's often overlooked despite its importance to translating a work of art. I spoke with some manga letterers about what the job entails and challenges the mostly freelance pool of typographers face. gizmodo.com/being-a-mang...

gizmodo.comBeing a Manga Letterer Is More Than Having a Fun JobTypesetting popular manga like Dandadan, Kaiju No. 8, and Gokurakugai can be crushing for its pool of mostly freelance workers.

I've been kicking the can down the road for setting up some kind of portfolio webpage, but I'm honestly not sure if there's any point in it these days. I'm already working for the majority of the publishers I'd want to work with, and my work isn't really super fancy that I'd feel like showing off...

I’ll be honest, I never really bothered to fully get myself integrated here, but that other site might actually become illegal in Canada soon due to their stupid rules and changes. So it’s time to actually try to get myself acclimated here.

You are up to date.
