The Supreme Court has ruled 6-3 that it has found the crown in the gutter, picked it up by the sword, cleaned it, and placed it upon the head of the president.

And the Freedom Caucus will still be tagged as deficit hawks in the press even though they've only ever been that when it's a Democrat in the White House.

There’s a weird thing on this website and lots of left-wing subcultures, where people love to throw around “liberal” as an insult, but from what I can tell liberals voted overwhelmingly against Cuomo and are rallying behind Zohran now.

You seem to be conflating questions of whether it's socially/legally/morally permissible to wave foreign flags with whether it's tactically/strategically wise to wave foreign flags when those you're protesting against are claiming there's a foreign invasion. Just bc you can doesn't mean you should.

Consider two photos: one of an immigrant mother being separated from her child and another of a burning car. Which leads the news? Which focuses attention on the harms of mass deportations? A challenge of violent protest tactics is that they often shift attention away from the injustices they decry.

Asked about a Dem response to a Rep. Nadler aide being handcuffed by DHS agents inside his congressional office — @RepJeffries: “We will respond in a time, place, and manner of our choosing… it will be continuous and it will meet the moment.” BASH: “What does that mean?”

NEW from me. In the NY Post's review of Trump's first 100 days, I critique DOGE's disappointing start - which has maximized chaos while saving just 0.1% of federal spending - and probably worsening deficits after the IRS enforcement cuts. nypost.com/2025/04/28/o...

nypost.comDespite faux fanfare and outrage, DOGE hasn’t even scratched the federal budget monsterMany of my fellow fiscal conservatives cheered President Trump’s executive order establishing the “Department of Government Efficiency,” headed by billionaire businessman Elon Musk.

You are up to date.
