Language Translation is here! Foto 0.12.1 is now available on Android, Apple, & Web for all users. Translation works based on the language your phone is set to in your phone settings. You'll see a 'see translation' button on comments, replies, and post descriptions that are in a different language.

Here are the four main things we'll be working on next. Language Translation should hopefully be released this week. Performance Improvements and the Discover Page UI Update will be in November. Collections is a huge feature, so we'll start development on it in December.

Improved Profile Sharing is now available with Foto 0.10.70! Share your profile with non-Foto users via the 3-dot menu on your account profile page. Non-Foto Users can now click into your posts and portfolios to see larger images. Pro Users unlock full profile sharing for all posts & portfolios!

The 2nd Annual Global Foto Walk will be happening on September 26th. We will be opening up the Foto Host Application soon if you want to host a walk in your city. Last year, we had over 1,500 people participate across 50+ cities and 20+ countries worldwide. More news coming very soon!

We are working on a big Read-Only 2.0 update that lets non-foto users click into your posts and portfolios to view photos larger without needing a Foto account. We are working on a bug with image quality specific to Android uploads. We are also working on some smaller bug fixes.

The browser version is 99% ready for public launch, but we are fighting a serious bug that we need to resolve. We have spent the past 1.5 days trying to fix it, & we have reduced its frequency, but it's still there. We don't want to launch the browser until we fix this. Thanks for your patience!

Hey Android People!!!! We just released Foto 0.10.57 which drastically speeds up the app launch time. You’ll want to update to 0.10.57 and open Foto, scroll for a bit, then force close Foto and reopen the app. You’ll see much faster app launch speeds now! We are still waiting on Apple to review.

This week we are wrapping up the update that will improve app launch speeds. Internal testing will start in a couple of days. We continue to work on the browser version of Foto. Specifically, we are working on the single Post page and the single Portfolio page.

We’ve found a way to speed up app loading times for everyone. We are working on that now and hope to be able to have an update in 2 weeks that will reduce the app loading time down to 2-3 seconds. We also are continuing to work on fixing bugs with the browser version of Foto.

We are working extremely hard on the full browser version of Foto and fixing the Android performance issues. The browser version is a big undertaking, which is why we haven't posted a lot recently. We are beyond excited to get this into your hands!

Foto 0.10.53 is now available for all Android and Apple users. We smoothed out the scrolling for the Home and Discovery Feed and squashed some bugs. We are now working on Android Performance Improvements & Browser development continues!
