If ANYONE starts to make their point by saying they “asked ChatGPT” or any other AI flavor: Immediately disregard whatever comes next.

Bartiromo: "If you compare today to World War 2 -- I put in a question to ChatGPT and said, 'If we were to look at the media during WW2 and look at how they are reporting this current conflict, how would the media report on WW2?' Here's what I got from ChatGPT...the media is against President Trump"

when i encounter people who say AI has a specific use in their chosen field, i trust them. there's plenty of evidence that LLMs have uses. but i will never use one for what I do. It would be a professional and creative death sentence.

Pen ink sketch on yellow paper, of a little stick figure using a long pole to adhere the top corner of an oversized billboard on a brick wall. The billboard reads “ This Is A Holding Title”. When you think of a good title some other time.

Went back through my little sketches I used to make. They accompanied the writing I would post on my blog. I forgot about this one. It is evergreen, in that I always post it in hopes that he would see it somehow, and be annoyed with me.

The Woolen Company in Frankenmuth sells these little mystery book packages. “Blind Date With a Book” Comes looking cute, with a vague description, paper bookmark, a pen, and looked like tea. Very cool idea.

Inspecting an aircraft repair, and comparing to to a detailed drawing, one fastener at a time. Up a ladder, look at repair, down ladder, step over weird metal bar, got to table and read drawing. Repeated that about ten times, until I forgot the ‘step over weird metal bar’ part. Fractured my knee.

A truly EXCESSIVE stack of air cleaners. My father in law was a special kind of car enthusiast. Fun fact though: his small dog used to love running up the front of this car, and he’d sit at the base of the windshield. Made the FIL laugh.

This old sign used to be affixed to the rear end of my father-in-laws race car trailer in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s. Just now noticed the misused version of “your” where it should say “you’re”. I guess at least whomever painted this was confidently wrong.

I’ve been fiddling with this spare Muncie 4sp transmission. It’s kinda fun. Like adult legos. Eventually, it’s going into the coupe under the cover behind it. So I will have to rebuild the trans at some point. I’m looking forward to it.

My AI seems broken today I requested creativity But got nothing but em dashes, ellipsis And half baked facts instead All said with earnest sincerity Tears in its electronic eyes Is it really intelligence Though artificial? Or is it just a clanker Drunk on water and electricity

You forgot to check the off switch again You performed many clicks and pokes All to no recorded avail The machinery was not recording You were never here It never occurred Proof of existence Presence in the matrix Something for the AI databases to steal As they educate themselves to destroy us all

The 65 is stuck at 48,980 miles. Odometer doesn’t work. Speedo assembly needs to be rebuilt. Ugh. It’s fine. Everything else works pretty good., for a 60 year old car.

Recently met up with Benny The Beard Troll, in Germfask, MI. HE IS A DARN TREASURE! When the world seems bleakest, go sit with Benny for awhile. Watch the water go by.

Promote my book day, apparently? Aviation poetry and stories in verse, with a focus on the POV of a mechanic. It’s strange, it’s different, it is An Aluminum Bitch. I’ve had decent feedback on it, and it is my best effort to date. Check it out! a.co/d/9Bhy9Jd #aviation #aircraft #writing

This that classic MAD magazine bit about "When You're Poor ... and ... When You're Rich" When you're poor, you're a scatterbrain who can't get their shit together When you're rich, you are an intrepid ᘻᑊᘯᗞ ᘺᗩᘯᗞᕮᖇᕮᖇ

I love this statement of our times. To briefly mansplain: I think in both cases, it’s what each thing represents, “at that time” that is the catalyst. Which really makes it more poignant, and funny; respectively.

We got vegans bitching about the price of eggs, and rednecks protecting electric cars like they were confederate monuments.

I almost forgot about all the weird and wonderful video game art that showed up in the early 80’s. Not to mention the awesome artwork that was on the old game cartridge boxes, that had very little to do with how the game actually looked, or played. Just setting the vibe, they’d say today.

I am so grateful whenever someone shares It's Storytime with new listeners. I thought the hard part was making the episodes, but that was trivially easy, compared to how much work and effort it takes to ensure people who will love the podcast find out it exists. Thank you, We Have Issues :)

I cannot stress this enough. If you love literature, check out Its Storytime from @wilwheaton.net. Not only is a wonderfully well-made show, it gives an amazing spotlight to works that actually need it. Link attached for different podcast services. wilwheaton.net/podcast/

At my advanced age of 54, my personal relationship with time appears to be fracturing. Things that occurred ten years ago, seem very much like they happened only a year or two ago. My age itself feels unreal. In my head, I could be 34 or 44. Only my reflection gives me hints of truth.

Detroit City Paczki Cream Liquier Seen at my local market, on the sale rack. Weird character is the mascot on the other side of the box. I’m scared to buy it, if I’m honest.

Maybe everyone’s brain is too full of hate a microplastics to fully give a shit anymore? I know. Lots of people give a shit. That’s just where my thoughts are at right now. It’s not logic.
