There are other weird ideas in the article. Among them claiming that evangelical groups there "eventually became subordinated to the State of Israel's official version of Judaism, and as consequence support the Israeli military actions in Palestine and Lebanon" www.jornada.com.mx/noticia/2026...

Ok, but seriously, there are many ways to say “Israel friendly” in Spanish

There's not that many Jews there for messianics' main motivator: conversions of Jews through deception. The article can explore churches' support for Israel without making stuff up about them being controlled by nefarious Jews.

There's a short mention of IDF missionaries with the messianic groups to indigenous schools. I would've liked more detail into that and Israel's gov willingness to cozy to whoever and whatever grp (no matter how weirdo) for support.

"the Jews made them do it" is unnecessary and wrong, in an article talking about evangelical missionaries from the US and their influence on Chispas' communities. And even worse is saying that the messianic groups there is "sincretism". It's not. It's just xtians being weird about jews at best.

Let's talk a little more about Margaret Hamilton because she deserves it In 1961, Margaret Hamilton was tackling massive systems, having previously wrangled room-sized computers that blared like a foghorn whenever they crashed.

Once upon a time in my childhood, the Sukkah's roof sjaj was very natural foliage. Caterpillars landing on the table was a common occurrence. I miss that. Nowadays we have to get lucky with possums wandering into the yard to meet the "surprise ushpizim" quota.

ST:SNW s4e10 's plot seems to only work by making the captains and crew assholes that ignore and order Uhura around. And it's so out of character. "I have to fix it on my own because everyone dismisses me" is such a grating plot-device. They deal with weirdness all the time!

The Knesset barred today the only two Palestinian led parties from running in the coming election. According to an overwhelming majority in the Knesset, the constitutional meaning of a Jewish State is a state where Palestinian citizens cannot run for parliament.

CW antisemitism There was an antisemitic march at a synagogue in Mexico city on Rosh HaShana (sep 11th). There were chants of "Jews, leave Mexico". One of the things that bothers a lot is people excusing it with "there's no antisemitism in Mexico, therefore it's a false-flag by (((them)))".

And sure, there are weird, suspicious, stuff about the march, but even if (big if) it was a manufactured antisemitic march, it is _still_ an _antisemitic_ march by the organizers. Be them a political party or whatever. The conspiracy theories abound.

Addendum: From what I saw, the serious/official/whateveryouwanttocallthem pro-palestinian group(s) have made statements not only explaining how they are not related to the march but more importantly condemned it.

"and since it wasn't a march by the legitimate/conscientious/serious pro-palestinian groups the only other option is that it's _NOT_ antisemitism but a false flag". And I'm like, you do realize that there quite a few other options for people who're engaging in this march. There are other ways to…

…protect the reputation of the pro-palestinian advocates that doesn't boil down to "the Jews are faking it". You can just say "these aren't earnest pro-palestinians, doing antisemitism is not ok, nor is it hiding behind the guise of Palestinian support".

Or, in response to Jews saying "this is not pro-palestinian activism, it's antisemitism" (there was a big Palestinian flag, upside-down), there's bozos saying "there are signs that this wasn't a legitimate pro-palestinian march" but instead of denouncing it as the antisemitism that it was, they go…
