So the new HC cabs have been terrific with one big asterisk: The new RGB buttons jam a lot. Ops & players alike have been trying to figure out what about these new Sanwa buttons cause this so Konami has dispatched a service kit to solve this- foam gaskets underneath the button.

How this works is unclear — maybe the airgap releases pressure inside the button. Maybe it just stops the mounting nut from overtightening. Whatever it does, initial feedback has been positive. To check if they're installed, try to stick a fingernail underneath the button.

Rec 4: Neon Rhythm Plus A dual screen rhythm game, with 3 lanes! The demo is filled with quite a lot of content, including the sussy among us imposter which is neat. The artstyle and vibe of the game is stellar, and the music matches well with it.

Rec 5: TRACE This Roblox rhythm game is playable on Steam for the first time! While inspired by a certain other circular rhythm games, TRACE puts its own unique spin on the genre in PC format!

Rec 2: COMETROX! A game about fighting kaiju monsters with your guitar, what more could you ask for? It feels like a homage to early flash guitar hero games, and it is incredibly charming. The jokes, art, and story is incredibly on point.

Rec 3: Hyperspin Hyperspin is a free rhythm game that takes its clear inspirations and runs as far as it can with them. The gameplay is quite intuitive, which can lead the game to go really hard on the visual aspects, which I appreciate. It's also, quite difficult at times.

Rec 1: Morpho Reverie Despite the game's weird intro, this is a surprisingly deep visual novel rhythm game about technology and art. The 4key gameplay, while basic, gives way to some unique rhythms with the different hit sounds. The higher level difficulties can be really hard!
