Just wanted to share the running costs of this project. Internet costs Primary 8Gig/8Gig $150.00 Backup 300Mbps/20mbps $30 Power costs $70 due to off setting things during off-peak hours with batteries or it would cost more So roughly the running costs is $250 a month not including domain costs.

This was something I was working on the past two weeks. Direct channel pages this would be for when you stream directly onto the site. Keep in mind due to areas that have worse connection to my connection this maybe limited RTMP instead of WebRTC. ( Think this will resolve the blank video feed ).

Still got a lot more testing to do for that though that's just a bit of an update to what all has been happening on the backend. Thank you for being patient with me with all the updates been working on this all for over a year and half almost now and I want this to be perfect before releasing. <3

Hidden streamers preferences are now stored on my server so it syncs between devices along with site audio and color preferences. Direct messaging will be available soon along with a page of approved streamers. ( you will only be allowed to message those who have opted in to this feature ).

Also planned would be live notifications due to Twitch's notification changes for if you don't see a stream for over 90 days, I myself want to get my notifications if I turn them on. If I take a break or the streamer does, it should be your choice if you wanna still get notifications for them.

Site changes like the spotlight feature has been getting used a lot lately that's been a fun little addition. Every streamer on the site is provided 2 hours per month to be on the spotlight carousel. I've also made it so you can right click streamers now on the main page.

I've also added a way to save audio preferences, site color options, spoiler categories, 18+ preferences and in the dashboard an option to fully remove yourself from the platform along with previous username history ( for those who changed their username in the past 90 days ).

I am planning on releasing a optional stream directly through the site option along with a way to privately share their screen to another streamer while not being limited to discord nitro. ( this is almost ready for release just need to finish a few last things ). ( RTMP & WebRTC support for this. )

I've recently added in-house advertisements to the site anyone is welcome to ask me to add their ads to the site. If you're doing commissions just provide me a 16x9 SFW image and the name you'd like it to be under. I can provide clicks/impressions information if needed.

Heya, just wanted everyone to know that we do not use PHP. So everything on our end from furry.watch to my personal sites should be safe from this vulnerability. <3 Though those who do use PHP update asap ^-^

furry.watchFurry.WatchYour one stop location to find furry streamers from Twitch!

If you self-host and run PHP on it (which is very likely) you NEED to update it later today, ASAP. A major vulnerability that affects PHP versions since 5 has been found, which allows remote code execution (very bad). You MUST retweet and share with friends who self-host. THIS IS CRITICAL. ⚠️

Cellular is still there though it is last resort due to how close the connection is to being non-existent.

We now have our secondary ISP connected. So if things go out at all we should be golden. I also got told once they flip the switch we will get symmetrical speeds ( probably next year ). Also was told that we are the only one on the line pretty much.

Going to need to buy a fiber to media converter for both ends since it is cable and I dont want any possible backfeed of a surge/lightning strike to fry out my own equipment.

Somewhat more reliable backup ISP soon vs cellular in this area for all services. ❤️✨️ ( including home network due to in the past streaming/gaming wasnt possible using cellular )

Well it was then it wasnt still have somethings I gotta work out hopefully should be ironed out by tomorrow 😅

( also noticed when moving it from the raspberry pi for testing some files didn’t transfer over to the new server for this )

As a little heads up we did add everyone to the site that signed up I do apologize for being very delayed on adding everyone just have been very busy recently. ❤️

I only just realized this but I pushed an update that was meant for the beta update. I will be reverting the service shortly to the original since this wasn't supposed to be pushed yet but I uploaded to the wrong branch.

Everything has been reverted ( that's what I get for trying to push an update to the beta site before bed lol ) - ( btw that is limited access usually for a small number of people not completely publicly announced - I tend to be the only tester on that regard )

That is mainly due to running any beta related things on very limited hardware ( Raspberry pi ) luckily it wasn't that big of an issue though I do want to try to push out the update by the end of next month.

If you don't see the setting check for an app update or clear your cache on a browser. #twitch #streaming

Hello Streamers!, Twitch decided it was a good idea to include training for AI and to auto opt in everyone for it, so to turn this setting off, go to www.twitch.tv/settings/sec... and scroll all the way to the very bottom before clicking on the "Training for generative AI" slider.

When I get home I will be adding those who signed up last week to the site before going out and doing Uber. - Nocturnz

Now have the possibility of doing restream hosting so those on iffy internet can stream out to multiple platforms. I can also do a disconnect protection so the platforms don't completely end off the stream. 👀✨️
