Can you hear my ECHO? I still cry out for you.

4 July

[OOC] A huge huge update is on the way. Might not be doing the interlude I wanted before Vol. 2, but a small number of folks have seen what I'm working on instead and I think it's going to be really, really cool. Vast majority of the work is finished.

4 July

It's a huge confidence boost to know I can still pull something like this off. Not saying what, yet. But lore is coming, ina new medium for the project too!

1 July

[OOC] Turns out I'm having issues uploading the Vol. 1 mix everywhere I'd like at the moment, so expediting Vol. 2 instead. Final production updates, mix/master, and rendering going very smoothly. 1 or 2 tracks moved to Vol. 3 for further polish (and vice-versa to fill the intended length)

𝑭𝑿𝑩𝑹𝑲𝑹@fxbrkr.com

But as it stands, expect a drop of the Vol. 1 album mix soon, and Vol. 2 to follow shortly after, with 13 new tracks filling out the majority of what I've been heard spinning live.

30 June

[OOC] Hello! Things have been... quiet on my end. I've been kinda dead for a few months, struggling pretty heavily to find the energy and drive to put together all the extra media I'd like to have to match everything I want to put out there.

We're mid year 2, and I'm really proud of everything I've been able to put together in this short time; we're still well above 1 track/month at around 34ish completed songs. (26 of which will have been released as of Vol. 2)

30 June

Huge thank you to everyone who has supported me, listened, and shown up to my silly little DJ gigs. I cannot begin to tell you how big my plans are for the future of this project - hence why things have been taking so long!

As we speak, I'm planning out the track order and assembling artwork for Vol. 2. Vol. 3 has a small handful of tracks ready and a few more in early planning/"what if" states. If you have recommendations or requests, send them my way!

30 June

But as it stands, expect a drop of the Vol. 1 album mix soon, and Vol. 2 to follow shortly after, with 13 new tracks filling out the majority of what I've been heard spinning live.

As such, I've decided, rather than continuing to hold hostage of Vol. 2, I'll be releasing it soon without it's additional media, and filling that gap as I continue to progress on writing Vol. 3.

It begins with rain. The softest kind, where the summer sun still shines through the contrast of dark clouds. The evening is on its way; and with it a journey HE foolishly finds HIMself ready for. The ISLANDS awaken for HER alone.

Still working on some necessary projects before Volume 2; I figured I'd throw a small teaser out fun. Unknowingly came across a @russelbuck.com remix in the wild, didn't know until after I had stem separated the original - regardless both versions are fantastic, and now my hat will be in there too!

believe and trust in your vision even when people dont at first. it will be difficult but so worth the journey ❤️

<OOC> Firstly, that. Going to try and be better about marking things as out of character here. The full CD mix for Volume 1 is complete, just need to put together a video for it and the first collection will finally be complete.

All told, this project has a bright future in my eyes between unreleased content, ideas, and experiments.

As ever, huge thanks to everyone who made this possible or contributes to the project (directly or indirectly). @melodinumbra.bsky.social has gone unthanked, but their presets have been a huge help in keeping me creative and writing rather than constantly patching synths (though I do love that!)

I have enough material that we're well into writing Volume 3, so expect me to be back on lore and high-production videos. A lot is being added to the story here.

Further, I have an unannounced show or two on the horizon. I'm continuing to get more comfortable with pioneer gear and it's making it a lot easier to play the way I want to when Traktor isn't an option (or logistics make it less preferable).

Assuming it's an option with Bandcamp (and I believe it is), future Volumes will be released as pre-orders, with a mix of labeled and unlabeled tracks prior to them dropping. As songs get added, they will be made available pre-release, up until the closing mix is added.

I realized I kinda shot myself in the foot with metrics by "releasing" the album first and *then* adding to it. This should help with that.

I have some big plans for Volume 2, starting with some major lore drops and expansion into new media for the project. Also will be changing the release structure a little bit.
