We had a couple of @frame.work power supplies go pop, and very loudly. In these cases the failure caused circuit breakers to flip. I am one of those users. I am also the IT manager. High failure rate for machines that are the smallest part of our fleet. Don't buy their garbage power supplies.

Over here DHL whose motto is "Excellence Delivered" now default to exporting your delivery data to Meta via WhatsApp. I installed it few years ago and do not use it. They have basically delivered no home-delivery packages to my house this year, and pocketed the difference due to this. I feel robbed.

To fix this, you need to make an account on DHL Express and remove the WhatsApp communication option and re-enable SMS. What is also strange is that I was not given the option to change my delivery option, even when clicking on the links in the email that should facilitate this. It feels like fraud.

I'll add this one was really extortionate, the only delivery option for a part I need, that is only availble this place was 65 Euros (!!!!) for a small part weighing maybe 50g before packaging, so for that much you sort-of want to not be ripped off.

Someone told me Bambu Lab seem to have shipped an internal Bambu Handy app with debug mode enabled. It's true and is still live for iOS right now. Pics off my phone. Not had time to look further yet.

I'm really happy to see an update to my @prusa3d.com Prusa XL and will definitely be going for the enclosure/printer upgrades. It has been my most unfussy printer out of probably all of them so far. It just prints. It's called Mr Burns, because its XLent

Have now installed a solar @meshtastic.org node separately and had an OK experience, the @seeedstudio.com SenseCAP Solar Node P1 Pro. This worked fine and it's up high on the corner of a barn. There are zero routers in the area after a bit of a search so may need to reconfigure it a little for this.

The result of trying to update my @seeedstudio.com Meshtastic Tracker L1 Pro using the instructions in their own wiki is that it does not work, and nothing even manifests in a device file even when using their reset procedure. 100% bricked.

The garbage @meshtastic.org instructions for the Seeed Meshtastic L1 should be updated to cover the risk of instantly bricking your new device, as it seems this is commonplace with a quick google. What a garbage ecosystem when new stuff just bricks.

DHL freight delivered a large package here that isn't ours. Tried to tell them. They have a frustrating AI assistant on the phone as the gatekeeper to humans now. Is it better than a simple menu system? Anyway, the human queue was also 92 people deep, so I gave up.

I should say fortunately it turned out we know the owner of the package, so it's been carried there. However, AI being used in this manner to further frustrate apparently bad support is an abysmal taste of the future.

Adding more ethernet cables to the bench in the shop. I have a 100% success rate with this Klein Tools through-hole crimp tool so far after a couple of years of owning it, and recommend them.

PughForge: Dune 3 Edition, fresh off the Core One+ INDX. The PETG was pretty WETG but it came out OK with a little stringing.
