It’s not even a cumulative effect. This effect is often immediate. I’ve now seen at least 10 incidents of ICE goons showing up, getting yelled at, and then giving up

A lot of folks may think that just yelling at ICE agents is ineffective, but consider the cumulative psychological toll of being yelled at EVERY DAY when trying to do shit. Even the biggest asshole in the world who doesn't give a shit about other people will feel the pressure.

The order takes affect Wednesday and bars the civil arrest of any “party, witness, or potential witness” while going to, remaining at or returning from court proceedings inside the courthouse or its parking lots, sidewalks or entryways. Judicial warrants can still be served.
