Two awful sides playing out an awful game in awful conditions #awful

We lost control of the hull game the instant Sean Steur went off. A blind man galloping by on a horse could’ve seen it. And now he hasn’t played a minute since. What’s the crack with that like?

Getting very much Steve McClaren vibes about this season #NUFC

People mocked Stevie Me when he was asked what his favourite cheese was and he replied “erm, melted” But it really is hard to argue with.

Suspect Palace may benefit from a new manager bounce before next Sunday. Is Roy still on their scene?

Vertical football, eh? Straight down is vertical, right?

Putting my mortgage on Manzambi scoring today.

In a minority (possibly of one) in finding Hannah Fry more attractive than Maya Jama.

Rejected lyrics for Bicycle Race

Andrew Alexander Cole’s 55th birthday today. Absolutely electric in ‘93 & ‘94, a goal scoring machine.

What chance Jaissle uses the narrow 442 he used in Austria? Width from Decić and Hall overlapping; Miley, Steur, Nico and Joelinton midfield; MFP & Osula up front. Not ideal but better than what we’ve seen recently #NUFC

All-Star offence All-Star defence No-Mark special teams doesn’t seem to be working out very well for the Rams.

Wonder if during his cosy little chats with local journalists last week Jaissle mentioned the possibility of ever playing a different fucking formation?

Always nice to see a former Bullseye winner off out for the day

The ‘new’ crest feels a bit of a missed opportunity. Boro incorporated the profile of local landmark Roseberry Topping into the lions mane in their rebrand. It’s a shame ours lacks any clever/subtle touches like that.

Almost enough for two of their meal deals

Liz Truss is fucking odd.

Beginning to see why no-one else builds a roster like the Rams.

Wonder if the England no.18 still lives in a caravan in Malibu?

I’ll still be using this one thanks #NewCrest #NUFC

Top three worst live music venues, go. Mine: 1. Victoria Warehouse, Manchester 2. Middlesbrough Empire 3. Newcastle Arena

Sound engineers dream

Those Rams 17-0 bets didn’t get very far.

I make a damn fine Hot Toddy even if I do say so myself.

I make a damn fine Hot Toddy even if I do say so myself.

Do Bayern usually play the can-can music when they score??

#NUFC putting in a last minute bid for Zack de la Rocha of Mexican outfit RATM #deadlineday

Just put the original ‘Electronic’ album on for the first time probably since the early nineties. I’d forgotten all about Bernard’s ‘rapping’ on the first track.

Is Fernandez-Pardo a 9 or a no.10?

“All he does is score goals”

‘Pour myself a cup of ambition’ What a great lyric.

Genre-defining performer, phenomenal songwriter, good actress, self-deprecating sense of humour and wonderful philanthropist. Legends never really die.

Legend is a massively over-used term, but she really was one. RIP Dolly.

Until S Ali I was never happy…

Verbal agreement eh? youtu.be/SckD99B51IA?...

Ballsak was totally anonymous today wasn’t he? Tonali stinker yesterday, guimaraes out for a while… this weekend wasn’t as bad as I’d feared.

There’s not a Miley who can play no.10 knocking around somewhere is there?

Saw relegation at 17/2 this morning. Be lying if I said I wasn’t tempted. Them odds are only going one way at present.

The names change, but the joke remains the same. They must’ve known for weeks Bruno was off but here we are, nowt happening #NUFC

Should get £200m for Steur and Toure in the summer of 2028. Up Matthias Jaissle’s financially stable Mags #NUFC

Mid-way through first half. Pluses: I quite like those white shorts. #NUFC

2.0 0-1 #NUFC

Howe going makes me less bothered about losing Bruno too. Eddie’s teams couldn’t function without Guimarães. Maybe a new bloke with a new system will be less reliant on one player?

To rebuild, first you have to demolish something. Onwards.

This bit fucks me off. Any new manager deserves a full run at preseason and transfer window. If he had any doubt he should’ve gone at the end of May.
