Re-installing Cyberpunk 2077 again. Never did beat the expansion (or main game) on my previous character but it's been so damn long I'm gonna just start a whole new one. Plus that was a hacking character, which was fun but boss fights were jank as hell. Squishy cyberwizard. NOW... we punch.

Was playing Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst a bit on Ephinea. Got the FOnewearl (pinkal) to level 40 so she's into Very Hard difficulty now and can thus start actually farming some decent stuff. Also got the mag ready for the HUcaseal (redria), so we can start working on that character too.

Each subclass in PSOBB surprisingly plays pretty differently as time goes on, and each section ID has a completely different drop table. So my dumb alt-loving ass made one of almost every class each in a different section ID to farm everything I'd want myself.

And for those that don't know, this game has rather ridiculous drop rates, takes a while to level, and will beat your ass if you don't play well enough. It's gonna be a whole ass adventure for a looooong time.

Leveling a new trio in EverQuest Legends right now, finally getting around to doing a proper pet build. Half Dark Elf Beastlord/Magician/Shaman. BST is there for some pet support, MAG for the pet itself (and nukes), SHM for making the pet THICC. ...And this is my current 'optimal' armour???

As my main trio used very melee-heavy equipment I have large gaps in what I have on hand for this trio (especially primary/secondary weapons). But the actual armour in use is like... really good planar stuff. Just also happens to be a set called "Midnight Clad" which is thin leather.

This was more a day of exploration than progress. Did some stuff, then decided to get on the boat from Night Harbour to Keepers Bight, near the wood elf starting area. The boat ride was a nice calm 30 minute trip with multiple stops. We got there and we're kill on sight with the wood elf town.

We did the questline to unlock the Half Dark Elves, but sadly their stats don't work well for our main trio. Then we spent the rest of the stream doing the quest(s) for Nektropos Castle, which is a whole lot of running around. Then we got to the 'final boss' (maybe?) and hit a brick wall.

Having looked it up online now I think I get the mechanics and I see what they were going for but holy hell I think it could be toned down a bunch, at least on D0/D1. Clearly I need to tune up a few things (mana usage) on the build, but seeing all advice being "never use DoTs" is disappointing.

Also now that we're max level with our new main trio (berserker/shadowknight/shaman) we can go back to farming Sky to get some gear and unlock other primary classes. Difficulty for this fight still feels way off though.

The castle area is fun, I like it a lot and the loot there is interesting without being power creep. But that final boss has mechanics I didn't understand but seemed really overtuned for a difficulty 0 solo instance. Did the devs forget EQL was marketed as "solo/casual friendly"? This shit whack.
