Trump: "When I say do it, they do it, right? We actually had to do some pretty strong things to get them to open it up. Think of this -- they had all that water pouring out right into the Pacific. They had a big valve, like a giant valve as big as this room."

This right here is exactly what this orange shitgibbon wants so he can be forever POTUS.

Democracy Docket@democracydocket.com

BREAKING: Trump signs an executive order attempting to make changes to U.S. election procedures and threatens funding cuts to states that do not comply. The order is likely to be swiftly challenged in court by voting rights groups.

The latest crazy just proves what we all know. They are discussing everything on Signal to avoid any discovery or FOIA or archival laws. So illegal but here we are.

ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION, YET?! 👇 Their financial plan is simple: Destabilize the markets, then benefit by shorting stocks… Crash the economy, then buy assets for pennies on the dollar. Just watch...you’ll see. Simple right?! The. Ultimate. Pump. And. Dump. ✨

Senator Mark Kelly is one smart guy.

Kelly: When I was flying in combat over Iraq during the first Gulf War, I didn’t expect that there was a 10-year-old kid sitting in South Africa who would one day become the richest guy in the world and call me a traitor for doing my job. Now, he kind of acts like a 12-year-old kid

AOC calls out GOP: “If Republicans wanted to avert a shutdown, they can.” GOP controls the House, Senate, and White House. Their stopgap bill locks in Musk’s federal agency cuts. Now they’re blaming Democrats for their own mess. This isn’t negotiation—it’s manufactured chaos.

My gut tells me that if Elon gets in a physical altercation he'd cry like a little baby after one good cross to his nose and then plead for you to stop. I'd pay money to see one brave person do exactly that.

Musk told the Polish FM, a long-standing conservative ally of the US, "be quiet small man". What I find so fascinating about Trump, Vance and Musk's verbal abuse of Ukrainians & Polish officials etc, is: can you imagine them speaking like this to a Russian or Chinese official?

Imagine calling Antifa domestic terrorists, but not calling Fascists the same. What the actual fuck is going on in this country?

Laura Jedeed@laurajedeed.bsky.social

Under Kash Patel, the FBI plans to stop monitoring far-right extremism and instead focus on "Things like BLM and Antifa" Patel's FBI is likely to go down this road even if the house does NOT pass the "Antifa are domestic terrorists" bill

They blamed the "woke mob" and then claimed it was a few individuals. If a few individuals is enough to make you shutter your business, then you have a business plan or image issue. Blaming the woke mod is intellectually lazy and refusing to hold yourself accountable for your own failures.

They made a homophobic, anti-mask, misogynist the face of their company and then act like victims when decent people decided not to buy their vetbro beer. The punchline: the CEO of Armed Forces Brewing never served. It’s a marketing ploy. $300K from Youngkin wasted. www.whro.org/business-gro...

One person, described as a "young bartender" questioned why government workers were highly paid. That sounds like jealousy. Another woman says she supports Trump but questioned why she lost her job amid the layoffs. That sounds like refusing to face the reality that Trump lied to everyone.

"Waste, fraud, and abuse" is the new "Stop the steal."

Just watched a segment on CBS Evening News this week with a group of voters in purple Wisconsin. 7 guys, 6 voted for Trump. Not a single one of the 6 was in any way concerned what Trump/Musk was doing. Zero. They repeated the “waste, fraud, abuse” line like a first grader with their A,B,Cs.

Today, the Department of Education. What's going to happen next week? This continues to be frightening

Jennifer Smith Richards@jsmithrichards.bsky.social

All employees of the U.S. Dept. of Education have gotten two emails today offering $25k buyouts ahead of a "very significant reduction in force." The first was sent early today and then disappeared from inboxes minutes later. Another just came through. They have until 11:59 p.m. Monday to decide.

All I hear from Republicans is that they are finding fraud, waste, and abuse, and that they are cutting fraud, waste, and abuse. But they haven't shown anyone exactly what fraud, waste, and abuse they are finding. What they are showing, however, is how stuck they are with Trump and Musk.

More of this, please. From everyone.

Brian Tyler Cohen@briantylercohen.bsky.social

"If the GOP could pull Trump’s dick out of their mouths long enough for the oxygen to return to their brains, they might see how batshit crazy it is to run a govt like this... But that would require a spine and these Republicans have the collective courage of a baby deer caught in a 6-lane highway."

Can someone please just knock some sense into this little man?

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Johnson: "Elon's cracked the code. He's now inside these agencies. He's created these algorithms that are constantly crawling through the data & as he told me in his office, data doesn't lie. We're gonna be able to get the information. We're gonna be able to transform the way federal govt works."

Translation: We're going to go see if the gold we're planning on stealing is there to steal, and to see just how hard it's going to be. And after it's gone, we'll go back again, just to check on it, and then we'll act surprised and outraged that it's gone and then blame Democrats for stealing it.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "We've actually going to Ft Knox to see if the gold is there. Because maybe somebody stole the gold. Tons of gold."

Medicaid is not for sale. NASA is not for sale. The Post Office is not for sale. America is not for sale. We have an obligation to resist kings. We outnumber them. And they can be overwhelmed.

Maybe that's because he knows someone going to take a run at him? And now his security team gets to carry bigger weapons and have more laws on their side.

Hard to find something that sums up the incredible stupidity of Donald Trump better than this.

Reporter: Why do you want to be chairman of Kennedy Center board? Trump: Some of the shows were terrible. They were a disgrace. Reporter: Have you seen any shows there? Trump: No, I didn’t go.

I think we need the help of our previous European and Asian allies to rid this country of Trump and Musk and their gang of grifting chodes. And also the spinless bags of waste that call themselves Congressperson or Senator.

What will it take before the Republicans with a little bit of sanity left step up? When their family members start missing their social security payments? When their family members start losing their benefits? When? Because it's going to happen soon.
