I'm Proud to show the current state of my level for my Final year Project. It's a team project and I am grateful to have a team of very talented designers, artists, programmers and musicians that all pitched in to get here. Powered by ESAT valencia. #SurvivalHorror #UE5 #ScreenshotSaturday

🕹️ Ever heard of Coyote Time in game dev? It’s a tiny delay (0.1–0.2s) after leaving a platform where jumps still register — named after cartoon coyotes who hang in mid-air before falling. 🐾 💡 Adds fairness and smoother controls Use it. Players will thank you. #GameDev #IndieDev #IndieGameDev

For our survival horror game, we're implementing a Fresnel material to highlight pickups🕯️ Since items in this genre usually don’t stand out much, exploration is key We’ve added a soft blinking effect (still being fine-tuned), to help players identify pickups Made in @ESAT_Valencia #gamedev #ue5

Library level design #07 The Scriptorium is coming together! We've tweaked the lighting and cleared clutter to improve navigation. Players will find a key clue and item for the library puzzle here, plus a bit of hidden lore for the curious ✨ Made in @ESAT_Valencia #ue5 #gamedev #gamedesign

Odyssey Narrative Game –Dev Update! I was about to release it… but decided to take it one step further. To deepen player engagement, Odi’s perception will now shift based on your choices. This means the story changes depending on how he sees things — not just what happens. #GameDev #IndieDev

Library level design #06 This is the dressing process for the Relic Room in our survival horror game 💎 In this area, the player can find a clue and an item needed to solve the zone puzzle While exploring, they'll also have to overcome a few challenges. 🐦‍⬛ Made in @ESAT_Valencia #gamedev #ue5

💾 Save mechanics in our survival horror are inspired by classic Resident Evil Use a limited item at the monastery statue to ignite the flame and save🕯️🐦‍⬛ This mechanic adds tension, though there’s still a lot of work ahead! Made in @ESAT_Valencia #ue5 #gamedev #gamedesign

Lately, I’ve been adding more detail to my City Builder prototype. ✅ I finished implementing the technology system and added a happiness mechanic tied to food supply, which now affects worker speed. ✅I also polished the visuals to give the game a more appealing look. 🎨 #gamedev #indiedev #ue5

Library level design #05 Here's the first dressing pass of the library’s save room, a quiet, eerie space where players can interact with the statue of the god to record their progress. 🕯️ 🐦‍⬛ Dressing by Celia Heck and Alex Iserte 🎨 📍 Made in @ESAT_Valencia #gamedev #ue5 #wip #leveldesign

Library level design #04 Building in some light foreshadowing in the library level. 🕯️ You can spot a key lore item through a gap near the entrance, but you’ll only reach it later via a hidden passage in the next room. 📍 Made at @ESAT_Valencia #gamedev #leveldesign #ue5 #buildinpublic

🖋️ For my Inky game, I was inspired by Slay the Princess and Pocket Mirror 💜 I aimed to create a dramatic experience with grotesque scenes that make the player uncomfortable and emotionally involved. The story also branches based on choices. #NarrativeDesign #indiedev #gamedev #indiegame

We’ve hit a classic dev issue lately: enemy feedback isn’t clear enough. To tackle it, I found this great breakdown of Dark Souls 3: 👉 www.gamedeveloper.com/game-platfor... It explains how to clearly signal enemy intent before, during, and after an attack. Sharing it in case it helps others too.

Since my game is inspired by classic Survival Horror, one of the main challenges has been setting up fixed cameras. Finding the right angle to show key elements takes time and lots of iteration! 😅 👀 Here's a little sneak peek: Made in ESAT_Valencia #ue5 #gamedesign #buildinpublic #gamedev

Library level design #03 For #ScreeshotSaturday here's the Relic Room Hall, from blockout to first dressing pass! This tense hallway leads to the Relic Room, where distant sounds hint at upcoming danger 👀🕯️ Made at @ESAT_Valencia Dressing by Alex Iserte 🎨 #ue5 #leveldesign #buildinpublic

I’d like to share with you a layout glimpse of the level I’m designing for the game we’re developing: Elysian Siege.🛠️ This is the layout stage, a 2D view used to plan the full flow of the level. At this point, I was focusing on pacing, player choices, and elements placement. #Gamedev #leveldesign

Library Level Design #02 Hi! 😊 Today I’m sharing the first dressing pass of the Scriptorium in my Library level You can see the progress from the initial blockout to a more polished space 🎨 Dressing by Celia Heck 📍 Made at ESAT_Valencia #ue5 #gamedev #buildinpublic #horrorgame #leveldesign

💜 Currently working on my first Inky project! It’s a text-only interactive horror/thriller story with branching paths and multiple endings. I’ve also created a diagram to map out the areas and choices leading to each chapter. More details soon! ✨ #indiedev #gamedev #BuildInPublic

Heyy! I'm working on a narrative Odyssey-inspired videogame using Inky! Here’s a sneak peek at the flowchart 👀✨ (Yes, Zeus had to be there for divine inspiration — artwork by the amazing Neal Illustrator!) #gamedev #indiedev #gamedesign

🧩 Here's the Puzle area of the Library, from the initial blocking to the first dressing pass! Inspired by Survival Horror classics, it includes mechanics like object pushing, inventory use, and clue hunting to solve it Dressing by Carla Bernad 🎨 Made in ESAT_Valencia #ue5 #gamedev #puzzlegame

🕯️Library Level Design #01 For this #ScreenshotSaturday, here's the progress of the Main Hall in my Library level, from blockout to first dressing pass The dressing was done by Carla Bernad, who’s bringing great atmosphere to the space :) Developed at @ESAT_Valencia #UE5 #GameDev #buildinpublic

📖 Here's a look at the layout from the Library level I'm building! It shows key areas, items, and challenges players will face. I've been refining the level throughout development to enhance the experience. More updates coming soon!👾 #buildinpublic #ue5 #indiedev #leveldesign #gamedev

Here's my first mini game in Construct3: Hamster's Bakery! 🍰 A prototype I made last year for a cute' em up mixing silly, sweet elements. Glaze cakes, score points, buy upgrades. Thinking of polishing the art and adding new mechanics. Should I? #buildinpublic #indiedev #cute #ScreenshotSaturday

This is a city builder prototype I created to practice Blueprints and explore economy design ideas ✨ I also added custom art to better match the game’s narrative and vibe. Planning to add some improvements soon :) #UnrealEngine #UE5 #indiedev #gamedev #ScreenshotSaturday
