With teens, a couple nights a week we have “fend for yourself” dinners. Eat whatever leftovers or sammiches you’d like, but I ain’t cooking. Someone in a post said those nights are neglectful parenting. I guffaw I gaffooed!

So NO! I don’t cook every night. I cook maybe three times a week, one take away and the rest y’all feed yourselves. The fridge is stocked, please do make good choices. No, I don’t have Twinkies hidden under the coffee table(yes I do.) Color me neglectful but this is how I stay sane…adjacent.

Lemme tell you what it’s like cooking for teens. Imagine toddlers. But large with an expansive vocabulary and VERY opinionated with it. Who like to mosey on in the kitchen to tell you how you’re incorrectly cooking whatever it is you’re making. Why no! They don’t know how to cook! Isn’t that fun?
