Was given this to fly today - 1937 and still going strong, the glider, not me :-)

I don’t believe it - we’ve only just got the poor man born and they’ve got Easter stuff on display!!!!

Today’s view from the office, so nice to be outside 😊

What a beautiful start to the day.

It’s first flight after blessing by the CAA after a 5 year rebuild. Was bloody cold but very beautiful.

I've been thinking about this poem by Langston Hughes recently and although it was published in 1931, it remains relevant as ever. #books #reading #booksky #poetry

Cirencester this morning

Just looked outside - cars look like ice lollies 🥺

@annelouiseavery.bsky.social Ah, found you here, hooray! As I find more of the reasons for me being in The Other Place have moved, the less I am there. Made my day.

Ok, I have returned. The other place is becoming too vitriolic and bigoted for me. I am happy for people to disagree with me but let the argument be reasonable!

Happy Christmas to everyone, no exception.

@neilhimself.neilgaiman.com Just picked up”A Stroke Of The Pen” you can see flashes of the beginning of so much throughout it. There are lines that I’m sure I’ve seen elsewhere, such as the tiny ship builders making ships in bottles. Your foreword was brilliant.

Hi! It's my birthday today, and I just finished a big Discworld piece for art class - birthday RSs would be very appreciated!

Huzzah, she’s gone. Now let’s see what happens to the rest.

In the the UK we are governed by a very stupid and inhuman party who will, hopefully, be voted out at the next election. All good so far. Unfortunately, if the incumbents are slaughtered there will not be an effective opposition and I don’t mean the current lot. So please everybody else, step up!

Just to say hi and thank you for letting me try this out.
