Researchers in #ScienceAdvances have demonstrated that brief physical contact between healthy and bleached coral can restore algae to the bleached coral, leading to their full recovery. https://scim.ag/4ilLAZq

fyi: i will probably block accounts named after my characters i do appreciate when people like my characters but i do not want to interact with accounts named after my characters and in their likeness unless i specifically am ok with you doing that and we've talked about that

i'm not a 'huge fandom' thing and i'm not a big company, these characters are personal to me and have a lot of personal meaning to my life if you want to participate in my world, please make your own characters and connect with those. there's no need to wear the likenesses of my guys specifically

i feel it's nice treat it as an opportunity to figure out why you like what you like about the characters i've made and create your own circumstances and context to play with. you don't have to, but it's just that i will block people who disregard what i want to interact with here, that's all

i amend my statement with updated knowledge: animals and people with zoochosis definitely deserve help to lead fulfilling lives

why are humans the only animals that seek out something they hate so they can keep hating it or feel worse??? i wish humans to learn how to seek out love instead

Other animals will do something similar when they are housed in improper conditions/not getting enough mental stimulation. I’ve heard it theorized that many humans are suffering from what essentially amounts to be zoochosis.

it's so rewarding and it can help to think about problems in another language because you'll have different associations, it definitely affects my mood to have to switch in the middle of like a heavy feeling or something

plus you get to learn really neat combinations of words which hold a combination of feelings that can feel really surprising to learn about. those kinds of things stick and give good foundation for word play too

just spent some hours sorting through old art supplies and finding my stuff from a decade ago that's still good and usable. some of my old alcohol markers became weird monstrosities somehow though

i got so many things i only used a few times and then not again? i need to change this. i will unleash all this old potential of my ancient art supplies and see where it takes me
