The “at API prices“ thing with AI is basically like when the infomercial goes “a $200 value, yours for only $19.99! Justpayseparateshippingandhandling.” if it was worth $200 they’d make you pay $200. Basically for AI they can only get people to pay the “cheap” price plus Contract Gotchas.
