I don’t want to go to sleep. Because if I go to sleep then it’s tomorrow and I’m not ready for tomorrow yet 😕

you're in her DMs and I've been coming out of my cage and I've been doing just fine

“Is dating allowed on this app” Please keep surfacing me the most succulent posts, Nextdoor

This industry is in rough shape, man. No other words. Wow.

Diminish an anime Ranma 1/4

DoorDash notification: “19 stores added near you! Check out the latest from [store that is nowhere near me]” Gonna take a pass on that one, babe

Imagine if everyone was consistently working toward making the world a better place to exist in

Time to wait now for all the preordered goodies to start showing up on my doorstep. Next up is the Evercade Nexus in a couple weeks! Looking forward to an updated handheld at last, so I can put my EXP to rest

Order for the Super Nt+ and Mega Sg+ is locked in

It’s a great time to come check out the Backlog Haters Club! This month’s game is Costume Quest, and we’ve just selected next month’s game!

It’s called fortification, maybe you’ve gird of it?

A cool thing about getting older is that sometimes I’ll just be sitting here and my knee will suddenly hurt. Out of nowhere. I didn’t do anything to you, stop it

This doesn’t have anything to do with video games so feel free to just scroll on past, but the kiddo has started singing, completely unprompted, just… to himself, while he’s playing, and it’s adorable. Today it was “Down by the Bay.” 🥹

Fire Emblem is really good. Dagsion feels alive and organic, and the world map stuff is varied and fun. They cooked, I’m having a blast, not even thinking of putting it down for anything else other than the occasional Trails or XIV break. I almost didn’t pick it up. Silly me.

“Read that again” No, you’re not my dad

When I open up Bluesky and the first thing I see is some capital-d Discourse I honestly just can’t be bothered. I’ll come back and post my silly little nonsense another day I guess

Uh oh

Yeah there’s no way I’m even anywhere close to finishing Leda’s route, so we’re gonna switch to Sky 2nd Chapter for a bit instead. Both are set in incredible worlds. Video games are so good

For the record, Kingsman - the first one - came out in 2014. This isn’t like… a brand new concept

The silliest thing I ever did (okay, one of them) is sell off my 3DS Fire Emblem games :/ Fortune’s Weave is giving me the itch to go find copies again

Look, I get the collector urge to collect collectible stuff. I do. But something about slabbing a game, ensuring it never gets played by anyone again, feels especially cruel

I said I liked it. I didn’t say it was good. Post yours!

What do you mean, the bacon egg and cheese bagel doesn’t come with Monopoly pieces? I’m not lovin’ it 😔

Also I would really like any more details on that OoT ocarina replica, please and thank you

I remember getting to 9:30 and that was the start of 3-4 hours of MMO raiding. Now it’s bedtime. Growth? Or am I just… old? 🥲

My dentist is about to be so mad at me 🙃 please send thoughts and prayers for my mouth Don’t make it weird

Why did I just spend all night playing Genshin Impact, there are so many other games I could be playing (And by “playing” I mean I sat through two hours of cutscenes, interspersed with some jogging)

Part of me wants to replay Metroid Dread, but another part of me is absolutely drea- not looking forward to replaying that one specific EMMI part. You know. That one.

The fortunes, they do be weavin’

Why do you all put up with this I do be yappin’

I think it’s cool when people like things. I think it’s considerably less cool when people, unprompted, divebomb into comments to go “here are all the reasons I don’t think you should like that thing” Just scroll past, little bro

Boy I sure hope renown levels increase quickly, because I need to recruit all these glorbos immediately

It feels like a massive parenting win that after putting kiddo to bed tonight and leaving the room, he did not immediately climb back out of bed and start banging on the door Little victories, wherever we can get ’em

Every day this week I spend all day going “I’m gonna play so much Fire Emblem tonight 🔥” Then the evening comes and I get maybe another hour into 2nd Chapter instead, and go to sleep 😴

When I joined Bluesky (or more accurately, when I decided to start using it) I followed a bunch of art and gaming starter packs. I need to go through my following list and find all the dead/inactive accounts… But that sounds like work 🙃
