A model of inclusion & effective programs. Hope other cities will pay attention & use what they can to reduce crime & uplift citizens in their own regions. We must learn from each other.
I joined Council Member Amanda Farías, advocates and survivors for an important conversation about how we can build a safer city for all New Yorkers, on our streets and in our homes.

Rolling deadlines don’t always mean flexible timing. A proposal submitted after a foundation’s board packet is prepared may wait until the next cycle. Prioritize strong proposals over rushed submissions. Read more: www.tgci.com/blog Trainings: www.tgci.com/training
We are the UNITED States! Inspiration from AOC for us to work together for the good of all!
Powerful words from @aoc.bsky.social. America does not belong to any one race, religion, or creed. It is big enough for all of us who believe in democracy and in our Constitution and in leaving a future that is better for our kids.

This is not about politics. This is not red vs blue. This is right vs. wrong. This about disgraceful actions of our president —which cannot be tolerated.
Thank you for coming forward. We need more voices from inside the uniform standing shoulder-to-shoulder with us to reject this extremism, protect our democratic norms, and demand accountability.

TODAY is the last day to register to vote in several states. I urge you to double check your state's deadline, verify that you are registered, and make changes to your registration if needed. Then contact three friends or family members and have them do the same. https://whenweallvote.org/
Such a horribly accurate assessment: SUPERPOWER SUICIDE
Tim Snyder: The term that I came up with… is superpower suicide. I just can’t see an example of a major country losing so much power so quickly as the United States under Trump. We’ve encouraged our enemies and we’ve made our allies not trust us.
