Phila Inquirer endorses Bob Harvie: "U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R., Pa.) has been a member of Congress for nearly a decade, and it is difficult to determine what exactly he has accomplished. Fitzpatrick, 52, claims to be a problem solver, but he is really part of the problem."

Every time I see “gamble responsibly” on these ads it feels like a drug dealer telling me to do drugs responsibly. Hey buddy, here’s your heroin. Enjoy responsibly! Here’s a number for narcotics anonymous. Like what are we even doing here?
Online sportsbooks say they do not want business from problem gamblers. So @propublica.org's Jake Pearson spent 10 weeks on DraftKings testing how the company would react to someone displaying all the hallmarks of a compulsive bettor. Spoiler: It made him a VIP. www.propublica.org/article/draf...
It makes a lot of sense that a man with no soul thinks music and art are worthless
President Trump is banning students majoring in degrees that don’t make enough money from taking out college loans. Degrees for social work, art, religious studies, teaching aides, and music will be hit the hardest. trib.al/aaAEu6v

Unreal 6 is going to deprecate blueprint in favor of AI assisted development. I can’t overstate how big of a mistake this is, and how devastating it’s going to be for Unreal. Just look at Microsoft. They put AI in all their products and are already rolling it back. What are these people thinking
You can make this same argument for communism. Communism itself? Probably fine. But it gets co-opted by, you guessed it, the rich and powerful. It’s one of the reasons I think socialism or socialism-lite (most of Europe) works. It allows competition but has mechanisms to solve for billionaires.
Pablo makes a really important point here -- the people who are the real "threats to capitalism" are the billionaires who are showing everyone that the game is rigged.

Excellent thread. I remain convinced that Fetterman was a different person before his stroke, and that lamb ran maybe the most tone deaf campaign I’ve seen in a long time.
I'm exhausted by all the efforts to rewrite the history of the 2022 US Senate primary in Pennsylvania, with folks insisting "we told you so!" as to Fetterman, that Conor Lamb was always the better choice, and generally ignoring Malcolm Kenyatta's historic candidacy. So let me say a few things. 🧵1/
