This might sound weird, but Jalen Williams having a dislocated ankle and broken fibula is of couras really bad, but it seems better to me than the knee being completely destroyed, which is kinda what it looked like. www.espn.com/nba/story/_/...

espn.comOKC's Jalen Williams (ankle), Cason Wallace (shoulder) to undergo surgeryThunder guards Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace will both be sidelined indefinitely after undergoing surgery on their ankle and shoulder, respectively.

Accidentally saw the Jalen Williams injury. Watched a lot of sports through the years (played some too) and do the amateur doctor thing like lots of people. I don't know what happened to his leg, haven't seen anything like that. Concerning that he seemed to be in medical shock. Terrible.

“Also included in the ad were a few shots of the woman's husband Vernon Edwards, who was convicted of gross sexual imposition in 2006 for molesting several of his nieces under the age of 13.” They have since used CGI to edit him out. He can’t even vet an ad. How is he going to be my governor?

We can do it, America

Another stunning defeat for a Trump-aligned right-wing leader in Europe. Serbian students voted out their authoritarian leadership after months of protests against corruption, taking their fight from the streets to the ballot box and turning people power into political power.

The election results in Brazil and Serbia suggest the polling error at the moment understates the anti-authoritarian sentiment around the globe.

I don't know if we were the first in 2012 with Obama, but we had a very intentional strategy to release this ad when early voting started, which was, if memory serves, about 6 weeks before the election. I believe the GOP late money dumps will not save them. www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBor...

No single unelected person should have this much power. Musk is killing Ukrainians.

Musk said he restricted Starlink in Ukraine- causing fast moving drones to lose connectivity - and that he had every right to do so because of some terms of service or contract that he didn't show us. (He didn't address suddenly doing this with no warning to Kyiv.) www.cnbc.com/2026/10/24/u...

This is literally the end of the rule of law. If a President can pardon people committing crimes on his behalf - and the Supreme Court says he himself can't be prosecuted for crimes committed as part of his job - then the government becomes a lawless entity able to violate our rights without limit.

It is pretty striking how Trump has layered Marco Rubio. He's Secretary of State in name only. Witkoff and Kushner do the important stuff because they're out there to make money for Trump. I don't know how this plays for Rubio in the 2028 Presidential. Deniability is not a position of strength.

The Trumps are looting everything they can.

Eric Lipton NYT@ericlipton.nytimes.com

Overall, we are seeing some very odd deal talks that are supposedly a part of ending the war in Ukraine. But in fact evidence shows these deals are structured (in the most recent case secretly until now) to financially benefit Russia or business partners of the Trump and Witkoff families.

God willing the next President is a Democrat who gets to appoint an Attorney General. God willing that Attorney General is NOTHING like Merrick Garland. I think he’s the worst AG in our history. Yeah, worse even than John Mitchell because of the destruction Garland’s failures have wrought.

Thing to remember about desperate, last-second crap like this, people have been able to vote early absentee in Maine since October 5. Same in many other states. Many die have been cast.

Trump: "Ramaswamy put up a very powerful Ad about a mother saying that her daughter, Acton, is a liar, and much worse. The Press is trying to get him to 'take down the Ad.' Frankly, anybody whose mother spoke about daughter that way would normally lead to the daughter being precluded from serving"

If we get control of Congress, I want hearings on Elon, SpaceX, Starlink, election interference, everything. Musk, Trump, Putin and Netanyahu constitute an Axis of Evil that must be stopped.

NEW AD: Have you seen these anti-Talarico attack ads? Elon Musk paid for nearly all of them. The world's first trillionaire knows if he drags the most corrupt politician in Texas across the finish line, Ken Paxton will owe him everything. Elon Musk: Texas is not for sale.

After dithering yesterday, Trump comes out strongly in support of Ramaswamy's ad, calling Acton's mother - who sided with her husband when he was arrested for abusing her 12-year-old and even went on the run with him, never seeing her daughter again - the true hero here.
