I've been using git for a decade at this point and I'm convinced its not a skill issue...there needs to be a `git steamroll --yes-i-really-mean-it` command that just gets you back to origin, no questions asked, no matter what.

I am baffled and infuriated by website login workflows that START by sending unsolicited recovery codes to email/SMS and THEN asking if I'd like to use my password/2FA instead. Is anyone in the year 2026 so bad at password management that this seems easier?

btw, 123456 is your verification code. Oh, I know you didn’t ask for it or even attempt to engage with this service, I just happened to notice you trying to purchase something on a completely unrelated website, and thought I’d offer to make the experience worse and more complicated for you.

Once as a kid I sent money to a stranger on the Internet for him to mail me a VHS copy of his camcorder footage from E3 so I could get a few early grainy looks at Super Mario 64, and I felt like the coolest kid on the block for it. So it's weird how little I care about Nintendo Thing(tm) happening.

I guess I should post the other good photo from that night for—(looks up "cryptic" in a thesaurus) (there's no F entries) (looks up "lurking") (aha)—for Furtive Friday 📸 @growlph.greywolf.social

I love that the Artemis II recovery comm chatter while they were trying to troubleshoot the astronauts’ satellite phone not woking included mission control asking “…and you’re sure you’re pressing down the ‘PTT’ button while you talk?”, proving that none of us are truly too important for T1 support.
