I bought this shirt at the Ace Ventura gift stand when I went to Disney-MGM Studios in 1996.

Ace Ventura Pet Detective: Live in Action was a short lived show at Disney-MGM Studios from 1995 - 1996. Not only could you watch the show in Streets of America but you could often meet with Ace himself after the performance!

So a long, long while ago someone gave me some old photos of WED Imagineers at work (can't remember who, but thanks!). I shall now post them here for Tom and all of you to pore over!

Well, let’s seem ‘em!!

Saw the new S.E.A. stuff in Frontierland. Cast members said they’re already out of Explorer Cards inside the store so you need a MagicBand+ to get one from the tap point.

The generations before me had cheap houses and a juice bar on the Mark Twain. Unbelievable.

I'd love to be here right now! Even better if the Mark Twain Juice Bar was still around. Better still would be if it was a "Juice" Bar...

99% of Disney Cruise Line marketing makes my eyes glaze over, but this new thing where a bunch of influencers are running around collecting clues on a ship has to be the worst one.

Today at Disneyland you can't visit Don DeFore's Silver Banjo Barbecue, nor can you visit the guerrilla historical marker the DeFore family repeatedly put up in the 2000s. BUT you can still see where that plaque was glued behind the tree!

Things found while excavating: A sweet pin for Don DeFore's Silver Banjo Barbecue!! 🪕

Today's 1-star Amazon review for AI-generated Disney theme park books is "Disneyland Resort Beyond the Postcard" by Francois Durocher. Ignore the front cover, which is clearly not from Disneyland. The intro has a RED TEXT warning about ... shipwreck data.

Official answer from one who used it, anicon jock, Dave Feiten!

I never noticed in this oft-seen promotional footage: 1. The circled gizmo, which I just learned is called a Waldo. 2. That the programming console Bill Justice is using is an early, pre-pictographic version of the DACS animation console many of us are familiar with (although now obsolete). 🥳

Two tags on this Disneyland shirt. Is there some weird internal Disney rule that says if a piece of merch mentions Galaxy’s Edge it has to have a SWGE tag?

Maybe the Beck performance after the Imagination announcement was a reference to plans to revisit the ride’s original concept of having two turntables

The D23 line situation is vastly improved this year. Yesterday I should up at 8:45 am and was in the convention center within 20 minutes. Today I showed up at 9:08 and was in by 9:17.

Had to see the Mission Breakout notebook with Dolores from Country Bear Jamboree Vacation Hoedown. Good caption: “KEEPING COMPANY IS NOTHING SHORT OF A HOEDOWN WITH THIS ADORING CEPHALOPOD. SHE LOVES LONG WALKS ON THE BEACH AND COUNTRY VACATIONS”

I know it’s a long shot but if anyone has an available D23 Saturday Honda Center only pass please hit me up. I already have a convention center pass.

Weird how WDW keeps Mickey beignets exclusive to one small location. Meanwhile in Disneyland they’re easily available and a lot of people will argue that Jazz Kitchen’s in DTD are better anyway.

It's scary how easy it is to find videos with thousands of views about how to literally go to POFQ from Disney Springs. Some have hundreds of thousands of views. And I saw people saying they waited for FIVE BUSES worth of people to get back to their hotel. It wasn't viable anymore.
