the funniest thing abt it is that i made this gif as a visual for a single which got far less eyes on than just the gif on its own (with less effects on it)

i don't really mind but as someone who has made other creative work that had more effort involved i would like those to be what proliferates online. oh well

why tf wasnt I adding fat to my oatmeal before. It makes it way more palatable and I didnt even add that much

I put two and two together this morning that because oatmeal is basically the same as cooking rice I could do the same shit I do w/ rice and make my meal way tastier

I used a little canola oil today, it was fine but I think I'm gonna try a pad of butter instead because its more of a "breakfasty" flavour

When trans creators are subtle, people dismiss the trans subtext as “headcanon.” When trans creators are loud and proud, people call it “obnoxious” and “cringe.” They just don’t want us to be represented in media at all. Because they don’t want us to exist at all.

“protein enriched chocolate chip cookie” is kinda the perfect synthesis of the conflicting american male desires to be a spartan warrior and also five years old

ai sycophants are so funny because they just assume that when they generate something its some sort of value add instead of it just being worthless spam.

i started making music a decade ago and then properly releasing it 5 years ago (which i would argue was when my skill really began to improve). did i have the fastest road of development? no, not at all. But i learned a lot in that time and now i operate at a professional level.

As much as a serial prompter may talk up their "craft" fundamentally a tool wherein you as the creative have little input provides very little opportunity to actually grow as an artist. like typing a prompt has the same skill level as searching google images, as the latter isn't really art

actually practicing art, music or any other discipline yourself may not provide the instant gratification of immediately being able to create pieces of high detail but over time you genuinely develop skills and create works that actually have value to them. prompting an LLM does neither of these

worst genre i think. so much of it is garbage wherein neither the swing elements or the electronic elements shine

We tried "everyone is entitled to an opinion" for three straight decades and all we have to show for it is four thousand cases of measles and a death cult running the government. It's time for people who don't know what they're talking about to shut the fuck up.

FYI americans your government is falsely claiming that canadians are interfering with your midterm elections and are arresting american citizens who possess dual citizenship or were born in canada for exercising their right to vote. this is naked hostility towards canada and voter suppression

Read the full article. i don't know what sickens me more. how the us is increasingly hostile and accusatory towards canada or how the american public so easily closes its eyes while its longstanding ally and trade partner is made to be a villain and scapegoat for their corrupt fascist government.

one of the guys vying to be the councilor for my ward wants to build beaches for our city rivers. Ignoring that the idea is out of the scope of a councilor - the rivers in our city are well regarded as polluted and dangerous to swim in due to their strong currents. People drown in them all the time

according to his bio he lived in Toronto and Vancouver before living here so the beach comment really emphasizes he doesnt know shit about our city. Anyone who actually knows Winnipeg would not voluntarily swim in the Red or Assiniboine
