Nine years old today.

🎂 I've been sending my Nintendo newsletter for a decade! It started out as Switch Weekly back in late 2016, and since then I've sent over 500 issues every Sunday. ❤️ 10 YEARS! 💌 hanafuda.report

Things have moved on a bit since the marketing in 1998...

This video started as me talking about Nintendo's Switch 2 pricing, but kinda turned into expanded thoughts on the changing gaming landscape, game scope, AI, and the competition overall. It's a bit of an odd time right now.

Kururin Paradise got added to NSO! It was only ever released in Japan (despite a showing at E3 back in 2002). I liked Kurukuru Kururin, so will definitely be checking this out.

I discovered and subbed to @hanafuda.report at something like 3am, during Covid, nursing 2 crying babies through the night. A different life, but Chris’ great and informative newsletter remains. Congrats man 🥂

so many of the links I shared in early issues just do not work anymore. I touch on that here and how so many of the outlets and names have either gone or moved on... but I'll keep sharing those who keep at it 💌

I’ve sent 500 issues of my weekly newsletter. I started this in 2016!
