In 2010, John Roberts joined the 5-4 ruling that let billionaires spend unlimited money on our elections. In 2024, Elon Musk spent more than $250 million helping Trump. Republicans call that free speech. Musk got the keys to the federal government out of it.

In 2023, the Senate invited John Roberts to testify about Supreme Court ethics. He said no. Clarence Thomas spent years taking luxury trips paid for by a billionaire. Roberts sent a letter. Republicans call that independence. It’s a lifetime hall pass.
