what a pleasant surprise to wake up to! i love osprey. there are quite a few pairs in the neighborhood. i had the honor of working with them in wildlife rehab, what you don’t often see in photos is that the scales of the bottom of their feet are also hooked to better grasp fish. 🪶🌿
