Pssst @capacities.bsky.social - your password-strength test needs work.. A password with 52 characters (uppercase / lowercase letters as well as symbols) is rated "weak" because it has no numbers in it and "strong" because it has one number? Recommendations are good but your's is biased <.<

.. no protection at all from any unauthorised use by a third party that somehow got access to the running system (unless Capacities encrypts the data it writes to disc). An encrypted disc is only secure at rest / while unmounted. Could you elaborate on the means of encryption employed? 🧵[2/3]

There's also the topic of "we have no interest to access your data [even though we technically could]" - not sure if that is meant to reassure anyone? Policy is all nice and well but how is it enforced? What if there's a data breach - those people surely don't abide by policy? 🧵[3/3]

I know ignorance is a skill over on your side of the ocean but honestly @nytimes.com you can do better - she has a name, they all do and you are smart enough to look it up. Otherwise why not phrase the headline “US leader to meet top official of the EU”? And make both sound equally unimportant?

Not really a fan of the stock BSky iOS app but @openvibe.social randomly doesn’t send me any notifications despite having permission and all.. and I don’t really open BlueSky regularly (unlike Mastodon) and so I really need the pings to work.
