Reminds me of the Concorde crash. Left engine clearly on fire. How that happened… not sure.

BREAKING: Video shows crash of UPS Flight 2976 while taking off from Louisville International Airport in Kentucky

For all the people who say we should ban guns, this is precisely why I am against it and very much pro 2A. If you care about your rights and this passes, that second amendment is going to be the only thing that saves your ass.

I had a serious chuckle when I read this, and only because of Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her association with Trump. That said, the only purpose of government is to serve the people, and this only further proves Trump isn't interested. www.cnn.com/2025/04/23/w...

As an autistic adult, pray you don’t come across me and assume I can’t do things because I can do them and probably do it better.

I’m fairly certain the founding fathers didn’t intend for citizens to bend over and take what government hands them when they wrote the bill of rights. That’s why we have the first and second amendments.

Hot take: S3 of Love on the Spectrum should be renamed “Attempting to Get Laid on the Spectrum”. My wife (who is also neurodivergent) agrees with this assessment. She also agrees that Sonia deserves someone and she’d be fun.

This is what I do when not posting to social media and we have severe weather. Storms never stop, and some are beautiful when they are angry. Some get ugly.

As I was leaving Home Depot, I saw a pickup truck that had a front plate that said “autism is not a tragedy, ignorance is a tragedy” with an older lady driving it. Glad someone sees it that way.

You know what I know? You sent the email through a compromised host in Great Britain, as the message headers prove it. Also, all the SPF, DKIM, and DMARC failed. Also worth noting any webcam I have is disconnected, even on my laptop. Also Pegasus is detectable, even on Apple devices.

You want to know what “Moms for Liberty” clearly doesn’t understand? The very definition of “liberty”. They should rename themselves “Moms for Fascism” for all they attempt to do.

This is probably one of those times. I’m glad I did not commit to my storm chase target. I did not leave Metro Nashville at all because I wanted to see what things would do in our neck of the woods. I really do think models overperformed in our area for severe WX. 1/

That said, I really believe there is improvement needing to be made in how conditionality and uncertainty are communicated, and that goes, especially for those who communicate through social media and broadcast media. I don’t fault the SPC because their outlooks already communicate a lot of that.

Tomorrow: if you’re thinking of #stormchasing in #dixie #ALWX and #MSWX, you’re a doing it for the first time, stay home. Even experienced chasers who pair with others avoid these setups. Chasing in Dixie is nothing like the plains… a thread… 1/

If you feel you must go, find an experienced chaser, offer to drive and maybe pay for gas. The experienced chaser can get you there if they’re allowed to concentrate on the situation and you concentrate on the road. Bonus points if you have a drone you can share or something else to contribute.

Otherwise, it’s okay to sit this one out. There will be other severe events, and even you can find something on a marginal day if you know what you’re looking for.

Dixie often has fast-moving tornadoes (45+mph). Tornadoes are often ugly and even rain-wrapped. Couple that with hills, trees, and a poor road network, it’s a major combination for disaster (or worse) unless you’ve never spent appreciable time in Dixie and you know it. 2/

Every severe weather outlook issued by the NWS Storm Prediction Center for today’s (3.14.25) expected severe weather outbreak. The outlook will be updated again at 20z (3pm CT) and 01z (8pm CT). Severe potential first mentioned 8 days in advance with area outlined beginning 6 days in advance.

While she didn’t write the outlooks put out today, Liz has been the one helping to inform us leading up to today and tomorrow. And since this is women’s history month, she holds the distinction of being the first woman to issue a storm watch. That said, stay weather aware the next few days!

NWS Storm Prediction Center key messages for the severe weather outbreaks today (3/14) and tomorrow (3/15).

It’s spring in the south, and it seems a bit like last Tuesday in terms of the overall risk for #midtnwx especially with the gradient winds from the low associated with this.

Revolutions have been started over far less. To let any of this continue on shows how much of a glutton for punishment people are.

To some of the people who follow this page… your beef is not with billionaires, but with power and money hungry oligarchs who actually want to keep you down, not those who use their billions to effectively scare the oligarchs at their own game.

Ready Fire Aim is a lousy way to govern.

Even introverts and autistics get out and do stuff like Severe Weather Awareness Day at Trevecca Nazarene University here in Nashville. Sometimes it’s a moment where I get to see my friends (like Fox 17s Katy Morgan) among a bunch of others. 1/

What we are seeing is what caused Russia and China to have communist revolutions, neither of which has worked out well for them in the long term, namely from an economic standpoint. That said, people are so gullible they’d allow either left or right extreme to happen.

Many of y’all wanted capitalism to die. The Trump admin is effectively killing it for the Oligarchs to run it. Morale: be careful what you wish for. You may just get it and you won’t like it.

It’s already been an active morning monitoring Mansker’s Creek. Official flood stage is at 9 ft, but due to work Goodlettsville and Millersville had done to add flood walls, flooding impacts now occur at 7 ft. Fortunately its rise has slowed. #tnwx

It’s easy to focus on severe threats, but many forget about what flooding can do, even though it’s not glamorous to chase. Because of that, I will never forget Nashville in 2010 and Waverly in 2021, and I will make sure people are informed, especially in my backyard.

If you feel the need to immediately blame disability for something that happened, you are the problem. That said, get ready for more incidents like this in-air collision, because I won't be surprised the already problematic ATC staff shortage is going to get worse.

Expect more like this to happen after the pardons. Trump isn’t pro law enforcement especially since he pardoned those who directly assaulted or killed officers on Jan. 6. He’s de facto said our law enforcement doesn’t matter. www.yahoo.com/news/pardone...
