I only just thought of this… Cassidy’s doing great, btw. She seems pretty comfortable in the soft collar and isn’t having any problem get around and jumping in to laps. She’s not expressing any pain at this point either, but it sure is hard to tell in cats.

I’m in sort of a weird place wrt my spinal cord injury. I struggle with it every single day, but I’m still ambulatory and can do almost anything I want. Is it even legit to call myself quadriplegic? Am I disabled enough? Is this a common feeling? #disability

I was refilling the fountain when a pair of goldfinches stopped in for a drink and a bath while I was sitting not two feet from them. Would have loved to take a pic, but you can't get your phone out when you have to stay completely still

The clearing continues. This time I'm pulling huge poison oak vines off trees. First I cut it at the base and wait a couple weeks for it to dry out and for the aerial root to retract. Then I just start pulling from every angle. Very slowly it starts to give way, just a little bit at a time.
