tw: suicidal ideation/mental illness this isn't going to easy to say, but i'm disconnecting from bsky and limiting my time on discord. so much deep anguish and continuous mental struggles have led me to feeling at my worst, even to the point where i contemplated doing something very drastic.

lately, it's felt like i keep getting hit by one setback or mental blow after the next and i'm not handling it well. it's all boiling over and i'm exhausted. i have to release the pressure because i'm painfully aware that i can't let this get irreversibly bad.

most importantly, though: being online hasn't really helped. if anything, it's only exacerbated my issues and, even in escapism, it's a 3 inch band-aid to a mile long wound. with that said, i'm taking a major step back to refresh my mind and get back on track. πŸ’–

this isn't to say it's been easy nor that moving to LA fixed all my problems. i still have a lot to work on, but removing myself from an extremely toxic parent was a 20+ year old weight off my chest. the day it happened, it felt like i could properly breathe for the first time.
